If we get snow this weekend it shouldn't stick for long. Hopefully we'll get another warm up before the deep freeze![]()
Bigs Dill Pickle!!!!
Nothing like a simple Coca Cola on ice from time to time. That straw makes it look better for some reason.
Thanks a lot palI sat out with the intention of going into town, and having a Thai lunch, but ended up spotting a storage unit I could use for knives, and another I could use for Knife magazines. They were too heavy to carry around town though, so I came home. I soon filled them, and then a delivery came with a storage walllet for my DVDs, which Barrett had inspired me to buy
![]()
It holds 180 DVDs, so it's taken all my 'A's, and most of the 'B's, but I still have a lot more, and the wallets are £30 a pop. Hoping I can find them a bit cheaper![]()
I was surprised to see how much empty DVD cases sell for on the bay, but I haven't got the time or space, so they're in the bin! I did offer them to Nobber Al, but he's in the same boat. Time and space eh?![]()

Vince I wasn’t born in Texas but I was born in England, 6 months after my parents left Laughlin AFB in Del Rio.![]()

Good afternoon Guardians. Been a little out of sorts lately and my wife is in bed sick. The Carolina Crud is making the rounds I'm afraid. I'm Ok today and making a food run. Have my HHB with me to ward off any more virus attacks.

I haven't seen any flavoured sunflower seeds on sale here yet. Good idea, they're a healthy snack, but they benefit from a bit more flavour I thinkBigs have some good flavors. I like their Buffalo Wing sunflower seeds, and the Old Bay ones are surprisingly good, too. They also make some weird ones. I bought these a while back but haven’t actually tried them yet.

I think I could probably find them somewhere else a lot cheaper, and they're far from my ideal storage solution, but they've saved me at least 2 shelves worth of space BarrettHope those work out well for you, Jack.![]()
He's on there, buying, all the time, but not only does he not right-click, he doesn't do email! You mean Tool Man doesn’t have an eBay store? (Probably have to right-click to set one up.)![]()

Thanks Barrett! I didn’t see that episode but I’m about to go find it! Have a great weekend.I think that math adds up so that you can still claim Texas.
Did you ever see the episode of King of the Hill where Hank finds out he was born in New York City?![]()
Thanks Steve.Beauty
Thanks Jack.Fabulous photo Dwight
Just yourself and those three beauties you live with!Brisket and boudain? What time is dinner and what can I bring?
Thanks Todd.Beautiful fall photo Dwight.
That is truly a magnificent lambsfoot. I have always loved that shield. That's a real Sunday-go-to-meet'n rig.Happy Friday Guardians. I was thinking of Jack’s question if you could have just one lambsfoot which would you choose? This morning I whittled ( pun intended ) my picks down to my top three. Here’s one of my top three made by Bobby Toole. It is 3 7/8” closed. The blade is 2 3/4” and is CPM 154 with SS liners. The blade has the “classic” shape of the A. Wright knives and has the same shaped kick. The covers are really nice paper micarta. This one has a well done shield. This knife keeps pretty close to my idea of a good old lambsfoot. Next picks upcoming.

Thanks Dwight. I’m enjoying the thought exercise. It would be too much of a Sophie’s Choice to actually have just one lambsfoot though. That is truly a magnificent lambsfoot. I have always loved that shield. That's a real Sunday-go-to-meet'n rig.

Thank MitchGreat knife Jack.
I'm going have to get some of that Henderson's. I've had a look locally will have to order some. We usually have the Worcestershire sauce, apparently Henderson is less salty. Maybe due to absence of anchovies. Less salt better from me.
