Thank you Bob Well, by the time spring knives (slipjoints) came around, the Sheffield cutlers had already been hafting knives for hundreds of years, so they were familiar with a range of hafting materials, but the Barlows were inexpensive knives, and used cheap materials such as bone and wood

I had to look up the Johnny Rondo episode. Steve Forrest played Johnny Rondo, which isn't what I thought I remembered. He fooled me with the mustache.

The youngest of the bunch, Blue Boy! I never saw much of it as a kid, usually got sent to bed halfway through, and didn't particularly enjoy it, but I still remember the names of the characters!
