Guardians of The Lambsfoot!

I was in short trousers the last time I saw it! πŸ€£πŸ‘

Thanks David πŸ˜ŠπŸ‘

Nice bit o' Bex there! πŸ˜ŽπŸ‘

Great photo 😎 Is that oak? Looks good, for sure πŸ‘

The youngest of the bunch, Blue Boy! 😁 I never saw much of it as a kid, usually got sent to bed halfway through, and didn't particularly enjoy it, but I still remember the names of the characters! 😁

Exciting stuff πŸ˜ŠπŸ‘

πŸ€£πŸ€£πŸ‘

Thank you Steve πŸ˜ŠπŸ‘

Those slings are top notch Pete (I seem to have dropped the quotes) πŸ˜ŽπŸ‘

πŸ˜±πŸ˜– I'd forgotten, thought you were talking about a knife! πŸ€£πŸ‘
🀣🀣 lots of cardboard for the lambs to feed on.
Remember the days when furniture was delivered, unpacked and the rubbish was taken away😱
It wasn't a unicorn but I did get a waynorth rider yesterday, that was pretty exciting 😁

Good morning Guardians, there's yet more heavy rain and winds here πŸ˜– Have a good day Guardians

Nice,
We had a little rain today, still humid though.

Steely grey sky here, but it should get unseasonably warm.
Breathlessly awaiting the insurance check from my dental visit. I had no cavities to pay half of, but I'm not sure how many xrays they allow.

I captured a nice twinkle on my edge, though I say so myself. Like the cartoon twinkle of a charmer's tooth. Speaking of dentists.

Such preparation for a dental visit.😱 Chieftain is a classic Jack.
A dental visit is not a small event here Bob! ;) Here's the queue for a dental practice in Bristol yesterday!

Thank you my friend

LOL! :D Well done Jer :)

Nice picture John ! πŸ‘
Excellent shot John :)
I'm envious John, I see lots of green!
Good pic of your Lamb!
Mornin John. Easy to have a good day with that awesome knife in the pocket.
Thank you fellow Guardians. :)
Sorry I was away for a couple of days. Big storms with high winds were blowing through Kalifornia. Trees were down all over town and they knocked our power out for a couple of days.

Hope all is well now John.
We experienced the same thing last month.

I reckon mate! :D Beer cost pennies in those days, and wages were relatively high in the steel-works. Maybe they all just chipped in for the beer, that sort of thing happened then. I used to go in a back-street pub, where it was just one long open round. You'd just go to the bar, and see who wanted a pint, and there'd always be spare ones floating about because someone had bought too many. Halcyon days! :D

Sounds great! πŸ™‚

Happy to replace it if you ever decide you'd prefer one with more boring covers! :D ;)

Never! 😁

You mean Che?! 🀣 I think I've been dumped! 😭 After Sara's mom showed me her photo, and told me that Che would be my new girlfriend, she ended up becoming quite amorous with me herself, and poor Che was not mentioned again :D She was trying to get me to visit her, and suggested I might want to invite myself on Sara's vacation this month! πŸ™„ πŸ˜† Thankfully, we managed to nip this in the bud, and eventually the good lady departed back home, much to a certain amount of relief from Sara and myself! 🀣 Apparently, she still asks about me, but I've not heard mention of Che! πŸ˜’πŸ˜† I suspect I've only heard the half of it, as Sara has obviously been quite embarrassed. Her face, when her mother suddenly announced that, as Sara would be visiting in February, it would be best for me to travel with her, was a picture! 🀣🀣

You’re obviously quite the charmer, Jack. 😎😁

I came across this old pic :D

Interesting that they’ve got the illustrated non-Lambsfoot knife on the cover of that edition turned the other way round compared to the one I saw at the library the other day. Maybe one of them is the Australian edition. πŸ˜‰πŸ€£

If you see some of those old Barlows, they really didn't take much time over the bone, sometimes it's not even ground to shape! πŸ˜–πŸ˜

I think that’s part of the charm in some of those old Barlows.

That's just what it's like at the central post office here Paul. I have taken in their own instruction booklet, and screen shots from the website, which lists everything you can and can't send, and it makes no difference, the manager there still insists you're not allowed to post knives! I used to just use the self-service machines, but they've mainly been out of use since Covid, for some reason  Thanks mate, it was OK. Turning cold again, and with promise of some snow this week. Still better than rain in my book ;)

Every time I have to ship something lately, I think I should just get a cheap postal scale and label printer and start doing that bit myself, so I can just drop packages off rather than wait in line.

The last time I had to mail something, a week or two ago, there was only one person working the counter in our little post office, and the lady in front of me had three reusable shopping bags full of packages to mail. 😳

Thankfully she had already paid for shipping and affixed labels on all of them, and was only waiting in line to make sure they all got scanned, which only took a couple minutes.

That wood looks amazing in the sunlight, Steve! 😎

Huge props to Jeremy @sbh06

He crafted three heirloom quality slings. They are perfect!

End of the month, I’ll be in the land where the wind has thorns. πŸ˜†πŸ‘πŸ»
