Guardians of The Lambsfoot!

Good morning Guardians. Tough for me to get going today for some unknown reason. Gorgeous morning here in NC - sunny and 65 degrees F. Guess I'll have some hot tea to start off and then maybe I'll go for my daily stroll. HHB again in the pocket:).

Good to see Shultz again Jack
Thank you Steve, I'm afraid poor Schultz wasn't in my pocket long, but he did get to open a very special box! 😁👍
Congrats Jack and you're welcome ! 😍👍
Thank you very much Steve, it was extremely generous of everyone, when Barrett told me it absolutely knocked my socks off! 😊♥️👍

I know the feeling Bob, I've been nodding off a bit, but Barrett's package has certainly put a spring in my step 😊 I hope you have more energy later 👍

That’s a beauty, Dwight!
Thanks amigo.
Luxurious
Thanks pal.
With all the recent excitement and activity around here, I completely forgot to post this other new Lambsfoot addition I got in the mail yesterday.

I’ve wanted one of these Albers Lambs in Ringed Gidgee for a while now. These were released on the same drop (Eric’s second Lambsfoot drop, I believe) as the Afzelia Burl, and I opted for that one instead. I certainly don’t regret that decision — the Afzelia Burl, in addition to being my first Albers Lambsfoot, has been my favorite and most carried one — but the Ringed Gidgee was a close second for me on that drop, so I’m happy to have one now. 🙂 (It may be a while, though, before it kicks the 2024 Guardians Lamb out of my pocket!) 😁
That really is exquisite grain. 👍
🤣. I’ve only told a couple of people about my unfortunate “don’t put your thumb in the fork in a slingshot, shot me self and caused my wife to laugh hysterically incident” from 6-7 weeks ago but here I am. 🤣🙌 healing slowly. Very slowly.
🤣 You better stick to long guns Pete!
Be still my beating heart.
:)
Fabulous pic of that stunning Lamb Dwight
Thanks matey.
Schultz is going to help me out
Schultz looks like a long one...
A beautiful day to be enjoyed.( oh, did I mention , helping wife pack for a 3 week trip?)😁View attachment 2641494View attachment 2641500
Beautiful lamb Bob.
Thanks buddy, my 2024 Guardians Lambsfoot arrived about 4 minutes ago! :D

Beautiful Lamb Bob, I hope your wife has a safe and comfortable journey, and an enjoyable trip :)

Well folks, I thought I better update you on the great news, before I fly out the door. It's rare that I struggle for words, but WOW! Fantastic work by Eric and Barrett, and a really beautifully put-together package, as well as a stunning knife. Well done Barrett, and thanks to everyone for your kindness :) I have to dash out to buy flowers for my neighbour, Mrs Singh, as it's her 87th birthday! :D More later Guardians

You landed a gorgeous one Jack! :D

Beautiful Jack! That might be my favorite example, at least until mine arrives tomorrow! 😁

Good morning Guardians. I’ve been enjoying the cool of the last few mornings and likely the next few, but the heat is set to return this weekend and into next week. Have a great day everyone! 😎👍
Looks like a nice warm spot for the cool morning. 👍

Gas man lamb again today. I sharpened it up yesterday, I noticed pretty quick that the grind was terribly uneven. It's not the prettiest edge now but it will eventually even out and it cuts like a laser beam!

Not bad Pat, better than a classroom full of kids that don’t want to be there! 🤣🤣🤣

These gas fire pits are mostly aesthetic. It won’t be too long and I’ll have a proper wood fire to keep me warm in the mornings. 😎👍

Thank you my friend, I'm really pleased with it, love the way the old Micarta looks :)

LOL! :D That is certainly an unusual tang stamp! :D Cool pic Pat, Wright's need to sort those grinds out, they've been bad for a few years now

I hope everyone's day is going well :) It is 2.30pm, and I am just getting time to scarf a cheeseburger. Mrs Singh's son, Minda, didn't let me know it was her birthday until last night, so I have been having to make a few extra trips, and scrub myself up for her garden party tonight  I'm over the moon with my GL-24, and looking forward to having a good, uninterrupted CE and CF session with it :) Thank you to Barrett, Bob, Steve, Mitch, David, Dwight, Paul, Todd, Pete, Duncan, Jeremy, Charlie, Neal and Dylan for their exceptional generosity :)

I didn't take a pic of the burger I just wolfed down, but it was a darn sight better than the burger my unlucky mate from last night, Jilted John, had in the pub! It was absolutely TINY! When we checked the menu, it was 3oz! Came with a couple of strips of lettuce, and some rotten fries, and cost over £10! 😖 That lad wants to make sure he doesn't walk under any ladders!

Market Day tomorrow, so I need to get my things ready for then. I don't want to forget to put a card in my camera again, and I have something for Boring Ray's stall I forgot last week. Naturally, I'll be carrying my new knife :) I think Tool Man will find the Micarta interesting

Barrett included a couple of other things for me, one of which was this handsome leather slip

Good morning Guardians, halfway through the week already, and I'm excited about my forthcoming delivery today! :) It's a bit early to be standing by the gate-post, but I want to make sure I'm ready ;) :D I've got plenty of dull stuff to do until then unfortunately  Schultz is going to help me out :D Have a good day Guardians

Good to see Schultz again 🐑👍🤠

Cool slip to go with your new GL-24 🐑 👍 🤠

Thanks buddy! I have only been on a short stretch of the AT when hiking to the Virginia high point. Sure did enjoy it 👍🤠
I forgot that I actually got lost out there. Ended up in some heavy cover and my GPS couldn't receive a signal. I had a compass and map so wasn't to concerned. I back tracked my self for a ways and lost the trail. Looking around I decided the only way out was to go straight up through the heavy brush and rocks. The trail had to be up there somewhere. It took a while but finally made it to the top and there was the trail. I sure was relieved to find the trail again. The rest of the hike was uneventful.🤣
