My favorite duck shotgun was my Belgium Browning Liege.
As an aside, the ducks taken on the coast, were not as tasty as inland fowl.
Night and day above US Brownings.

Beautiful guns and I’m so used to the feel I can’t shoot much else well.

Interesting you say that, my father always said ducks (particularly pink ear ducks) were better off a salt swamp. They are dabblers, not diving ducks which I think makes a difference.

I try not to check tracking and have the surprise of knives turning up in the mailbox. That way I don’t mind the wait, but no had to check!

I do that a lot,Ive tried to stop doing it though I drive myself crazy.

With Amazon in England I only know when they have delivered when my email alert goes of they NEVER ring the doorbell.

Yesterday I found 2 packages thrown on my doorstep,I am thinking of ordering some fine glassware and see how that turns out.

I was referencing The Postman Always Rings Twice and trying to link a picture of Jessica Lange. She frustrated me. (That never happens.)

But I'll bet this is how Jessica Lange deals with her woodchucks.

I bought this knife in the US. It looks to me to be inked, as in "salesman's sample". The knife is unused.

Sometimes those clay beggars can take some killing! What’s your clay gun? I have an old C grade Belgium O/U browning. Probably due to upgrade but she still does the job.

I was always lucky like that I suppose, we didn’t have a lot growing up so a big component of our meat intake was what dad could hunt or fish. Carried on to me and I love the outdoors, hopefully my kids continue it.

Your Browning would be a big upgrade compared to what I shoot sporting clays with. I use a Remington 870 Wingmaster that I bought used several years back. Still a lot of fun, though, and it can get the job done.

Burger night tonight, ate too much too fast.

Homemade chilli sauce ain’t terrible if I may say so.

Homemade chili sauce sounds pretty good. Definitely Guardians of the Condiments approved. I’m guessing you grow the peppers yourself?

I’ve been keeping an eye on it myself (I added the tracking for all the Guardians knife packages to my USPS app). It’s funny, I dropped yours and Mitch’s off at the same time. Obviously you guys don’t live in the same part of Australia, but still, same side of the country. Yours went through Chicago, then San Francisco, then Melbourne, which seems logical. His went from Chicago, to Atlanta, and then to Frankfurt, Germany! I had to double check and make sure I didn’t accidentally send it to Austria instead of Australia!

Yes I do, did 4 or 5 varieties last summer. The batch I had tonight was a blend of habanero and an Australian chilli called Broome. The Broome has made it through the winter but I think I’ll be replanting habaneros. I also have this lemon Aji I picked up off a friend and fellow Gardner. It’s a yellow chilli with citrus notes, makes a very different but pleasant chilli sauce.

I still carry Jake 99% of the time.

My first Lambsfoot is Rosie, gifted to me by flatblackcapo . She doesn't get much pocket time these days but she is still in fine form.
