Guardians of The Lambsfoot!

Hospital beds finest linens…my only vacation this year 😂

😂😂 some classes I needed to be anesthetized. For an early chemistry class, prof said, if we showed up for every class, we would receive a passing grade. It was still tough.😂

I guess it is a reflection of the work ethic now.😟
😱🤣🤣🤣👍
That smell has not changed in 50 years.:eek::eek:
😱🤢🤣
I finally put the GL-24 down and since it is Sunday grabbed my Fancy Jack Lamb.

That sure is fancy Kurt 😁😎👍
Lovely pic Steve 😎👍

Looks like a superior beverage Bob 👍
Sounds like a lucky escape mate, we used to fish a lot down at Portland and they certainly do breed some interesting hairy knuckled, hunched back specimens over there!

Could never go in for soco, tasted sweeter than straight sugar. I always thought it was bs when people would say a certain alcohol makes them want to fight but I have a friend who could drink himself into a stupor on beer and he would hurt a fly. Put him on rum and he’s a different story.
One word - Buckfast! 😱😱😱

I’m happy to say I am through the busy season at work and my family is back home!!! Please excuse my horrendous participation. I’ve got about 100 pages to catch up on 😂😂.

Got home to this amazing Albers. Barrett Generously gifted me this amazing GL-24. Dare I say that this knife is the hottest ticket in town!!!! People are foaming at the mouth 😂😂😂. Not only a great knife but the friendships that this knife signifies is the important part. Thank you @btb01 for a great job on this project and for the very generous gift. Typewriter and all…….amazing. Happy to say I got a cool spotted one with great character.

Great to have you back Paul, and that's fantastic news 🙂 Hope your life can get back to something like normal now 😊 Well done Barrett 😎 That's a beauty, almost looks like camo! 😁 Ace pics too 👍
Looking good David 😊👍
Scout ordered it once because she wasn’t interested in anything off the kids menu (and we were there during happy hour when appetizers were discounted). It was twice the size of her head. 😁
🤣 🤣
I never liked the stuff, so I’ve only had it a few times. A couple years ago, when I did a DIY whiskey advent calendar leading up to Christmas, I had a small airplane-size bottle of Southern Comfort Fiery Pepper. Don’t even remember where I got it. Absolutely horrendous stuff! 🤮
I haven't had it since I was 16 :D
Yeah, you sure picked a busy time to disappear in the desert. 😁🤣
🤣👍
Someone post a knife!!! Jack is going to send us to our rooms.😁
Thanks Leon, that's a smasher :)

Looks like mine has cleared customs, maybe Wed/Thur delivery. The remaining knives would have to be getting pretty close to their destinations I reckon.

mitch13 mitch13 is yours still on a world tour?
Apparently in Sydney on Friday, could be end of week or next week.
Parcels often take a week from Sydney, although it is just over 2hr drive on the freeway.

Here’s a bunch! 😉😁 (Updated the group pic with Paul’s knife.)

Great to see those again Barrett :)
Enjoyed another Cardinals-Twins game today. It was pretty warm out, at least by Minnesota standards, and humid, but there was some cloud coverage which helped, and by the second inning or so our seats were in the shade.

Scout and I were competing to see who could sweat the most. 🥵

Great day for a cold beer!

We had pretty good seats for this game, and it was an exciting one. The Cardinals were down 1 run with two outs in the top of the 9th inning, but scored two runs on an error, putting them up 3 to 2, then they held the Twins off in the bottom of the 9th to win the game.

I spotted this building downtown when we came to the game on Friday, and made sure to take a picture of it today. Clean, comfortable rooms, $14.00 a week. 😁

I left my knife behind for the game today, so when I got home I decided the go double-Lambsfoot for the rest of the evening. 😎

Great pics Barrett, it's nice to see you all out having fun :) Love the ghost sign! :D Nice pair to finish off the day :)
Lamb accompanying me to let the girls out this morning.

For a few years we raised and bred a show line of Plymouth rocks but they gradually dwindled away mostly from good old basil fox 🦊

Now I have a trio of white leghorns, my wife a pair of Rhode Island reds, and a pair each of australorp cross and good old isa browns.

Tool Man used to have a few Road Islands
Funny looks is why I haven’t bought one.
I get those anyway! :D ;)
Cool then he can do the chores.
I'll be 1 of the cool kids, my youngest will surface maybe by 2pm.

Same again
Still looks like new Mitch :)
After church and a long dog walk we headed out to a local winery. GL-24 on duty for snacks. Good times.

I like your style Tyson, hope you had a lovely day :)
Cool pic Dwight :)
The building doesn’t exactly inspire confidence, does it? 😁

It reminded me of this line from the Roger Miller song “Dang Me”:

Just sittin’ round drinkin’ with the rest of the guys,
Six rounds bought and I bought five.
Spent the groceries and half the rent,
Like 14 dollars and 27 cents…

:D:thumbsup:

At least you got a few great pics :D ;)
All is well. Just waiting for the wife to be released after our son was born.
Hope you're all safely home by now :)

Good morning Guardians, sounds like you all had a great weekend :) Mine will hopefully continue today, as its the main day of the Carnival today, with the parade. I usually go down to the park first to see it set off, but logistically, it's a bit of an issue, as my house, Matt's house, and the park at 3 corners of the area, and I hate lugging stuff around with me. Also I'll have friends coming into the area, who I'll need to meet up with, and take care of a little. Another factor is provisions, since the fare on offer in the park is way down on the usual variety and quality. I think I'm going to head down to Charlie's cafe, hopefully get a coffee, if I can get in the door, and then Matt's, which is near where we usually watch the parade. I still have the dilemma of whether or not to take everything with me, or call back home for it halfway through the afternoon. First world problems eh?! :D The music has been pretty good this year, with a good variety in the park yesterday, even a large gospel choir, and I'll be looking out for my favourite local samba band ;) Hopefully, I can get some pics, have a great day, and get back home again in one piece :D Hope your week gets off to a good start Guardians :) Please up the Lambsfoot to chat content

Thanks Jack
All in the lighting, plenty of scratches. I was amazed that I got a good picture as glasses on the table took a heap😉

Have a great day, don't get sun burnt.

Sounds like fun Todd. Have you had any turtle traffic lately?
Yep, the turtles are all doing great Dwight. I'm glad lamb isn’t in their diet! 🤣
