Thanks GT. Let me add, HAPPY BIRTHDAY! Thanks also for all you contribute to this thread, and the whole forum! I hope you’ve had a great day.
Dave & Dave, thanks for the kind words, gentlemen.

Thank you, GT. An interesting question. The pipe is made of briar and though I haven't heard if it being used for knives, I imagine it could be done and likely has. Unfinished briar is rather plain in its appearance though and would benefit greatly from the use of dyes and texturing.
...
Thanks for your insights, Dylan.
Thanks, Gary. I'm no poet, and I know it, but I try!

I like it, Gary.
Nice collection. But I think Cracker Jack is the best.
Thanks, Vince, and I'm coming to your way of thinking regarding the stag lambsfoot.

So tonight I spent a little time CF'ing and chicken eye'in my four A Wright Lambsfoots...nice pieces of kit, each and every one, and all unique in character. these knives have soul, something about them is timeless...I could well get on for many a year with no other pocket knife but any one of my specimens. just thought to take a moment and thank Mr. Jack Black for introducing me and all a Y'all to this magnificent pattern! You, good sir, are a valiant Champion, of all things Lambsfoot. One of the main reasons BF has held my interest through the years is the wealth of discovering knives I had no previous exposure to or knowledge of. The Lambsfoot was a most pleasant and welcome discovery...
I think you articulately expressed the position of many of the Guardians, Duane - many thanks!

Your photo suggests that AC could stand for All-Consuming, Dwight!!

... For knife content I have the Ebony Trio!
Enchanting ebony X 3, Ron!

Here's my lambsfoot haiku (I actually got this from RALF this morning!

).
A pure joy to hold,
Capable of any cut:
Lambsfoot perfection.
...
I'm afaid that RALF is not very modest.

RALF Rocks, Jeff!
Is that the 2019 sample?

Sure, just post that and sign off for the night!
The wood filled me with wonder, and your reticence marked you as an international man of mystery!!

...
Here are a couple quick photos I snapped during our visit to Wright’s this morning (technically yesterday morning now). I’ll post some other photos from my Sheffield visit later on, perhaps in the lounge or the totin’ thread.
Thanks for sharing some of your visit with the Guardians, Barrett! I hope you and your family have a remarkable trip!

I had this Guardian's Lambsfoot with me yesterday to celebrate the 500 page mile stone. Keep it up Guardians, that is half way to 1000!
Great photo, FBC!!

How did you light that?
...
I reckon me and Barrett must have covered a good few miles yesterday, and my feet sure do ache today!

...
Thanks my friend

The banner was something I was playing around with the other week, just seemed appropriate to throw it in there, needs some work I think

...
It certainly was GT, were your ears burning?
Thanks pal, and it's great to see your Man Jack
I hope your (and Barrett's?) feet are well-rested by now.

Thanks for the banner info, Jack.

Were my ears burning? Uh-oh, not sure I like the implications of that question!

Thanks for the Man Jack mention.
...
Enjoying the haikus guys

Great family pic GT
Thanks, Jack.

I've also been impressed by the high-class haikus penned by Guardians!

Lovely knife,
@bonzodog, and I like the "geometry" of your phrase!

That Ironwood sample looks almost 'marbled' or an interesting Tortoiseshell effect

Apt description, Will!

I gave my duck something to quack about.
As always, your AC impresses, Vince, but so does your duck!

Why the font change?
Compelling couple of lambsfoots, Jack!

Oh now that's very nice.
Pie, beer, and knife are all mouth-watering, David!

Thanks a lot guys

I was just taking a pic for the Beverages thread, I don't usually use a flash, but I was using my old camera, and the flash went off automatically. Lights up the wood though
W

W, that looks even more striking, Jack!

...
Of all the lambsfoot knives I’ve acquired, the standard swayback was the first one and still my favorite.
...
Stellar stag lambsfoot, Steve!

...
Here's a few pics from my weekly Saturday visit to our local dog park....
Primo pair, Rob!

Jack, I'm in the hospital and I've been better, but am hopefully on the mend. That's a nice looking knife, well done.
Hang in there, Andrew; I hope you make substantial improvement every day!

My Yorkshire Rose (thanks Dave

) glowing in the woods
Whoa, it's radioactive!!!
