Hope the New Year is easier at work I thought I'd post my Christmas Day knives on another of George Cunningham's pics. I grew up near the (frozen) pond shown here, which was originally the dam (or mill pond) of a cutler's wheel, and is included in Part 2 of my 'The Dairy-Maids of Porter Brook' thread series
