Excellent DavidThanks Jack. All this lollygagging is about to wear me out. Might need to nap in a bit. Yes sir it's Horsewright small Buckaroo pouch. It fits the Wright, Albers and May sized Lambsfoot knives well.![]()
Well, it probably went into decline in the 1950's, and saw no reason to stop Dave!Sorry about the decline of Bradford. Glad your meetings went well. Hope you have a good evening.Tell Tool Man he owes you a extra piece of cake next week.

You should see the one in Sheffield Leon, it's not a market, it's a mallI know i'm old grumpy and cynical and all the other stuff that goes with it, but all Markets just look the same now, it's like we have been invaded by aliens from outer space.
That's a shame BarrettThere were definitely some pronunciation questions in the dialect quiz, like whether or not you pronounce “pen” and “pin” the same, or how you pronounce the word “aunt.” That quiz was a lot of fun, but it’s unfortunately behind a paywall now.![]()
Barely!I’m surprised he can operate a phone (at least one that isn’t connected to a wall by a cord and has a rotary dial.)On second though, the rotary dial might be too complicated.

The Town Hall is quite interesting, and the Al-Hambra theatre. I will try to get some photos when I next have to visitSorry to hear your trip to Bradford went so well that you’ll have to go back. Thanks for the pics. As with most places in your country, it appears to have some beautiful old architecture (if you can look past the barricades, temporary fences, orange cones and construction signs held in place by sandbags). The leaf sculpture is interesting, too.
Very handsome Barrett, and a very generous gift. I don't mind the Pen being open, though with other secondary blades, I'd rather they weren't shown repeatedlyI received a surprise in the mail yesterday, a package fromSteveC containing this lovely Sheffield-made Lambsfoot. Jack, you’ll have to forgive the open secondary blade this one time — I could deprive everyone from seeing that excellent OIL THE JOINTS tang stamp.
The knife was recovered by @glennbad in Rosewood. Thanks again, Steve!

Oh no!You used to see commercials for those here, from a company called Jitterbug. I’m sure someone still offers the same sort of thing. I wish my mom had one.Last time she visited I had to help her stop getting charged like $10 a week for some game she’d downloaded, and then prevented her from getting scammed when I overheard her on the phone with what she thought was PayPal customer service.

Thank you Barrett, Pens are extremely common on Lambsfoot knives, and clearly a secondary blade, so I figure nobody is going to get too excited talking about them. The danger with much rarer full-size secondary blades is that discussion then takes off about the secondary, as indeed has happened, very occasionally hereThanks, Jack. I knew that about knives like the GEC #88 with two full size blades, wasn’t sure about a pen secondary.Just didn’t want you to think I was openly defying the rules!

Looks like a good fire kit.
Thanks pal! They are a quality tool and very handy. I've have a pair I've used at work since 08. My high school shop teacher would be spinning in his grave if he knew how I have used that pair of pliers over the years. He taught us never to use a tool except for its intended use. Which I try to do. But sometimes due to circumstances one needs to adapt and improvise to overcome the situation at hand.Nice pic, David. Feels like I’m seeing those Knipex pliers everywhere lately. They look like a quality tool.

Your photo didn't come through.
Jack, are you offering that to him as protection?Morning guardians, quite a nice spring morning 17C at 7:30am.
Went to let Bob and the girls out and noticed a fox has tried to dig into the pen overnight. The brick was completely covered over so he’s had a go. I tied off and buried chicken wire that curls back toward the outside, once they hit that they give up.

The colours are just about right red and white but no gold. The finals series starts today, Swans play tomorrow finished top of the ladder
