Great pic of Charlie
I recognize that green capBarrett, what a unique and super generous GAW. I’m in please. Here is the state of the condiments currently. The Marie Sharps has been a favorite since I spent time in Belize in the summer of 1997. I put it on everything, to my wife’s dismay.

Nature has an innate ability to look after and correct itself, tamper with it at your own peril.Nature seems to have a way of finding perfection and grace against all odds
That is the uniqueness of Charlie's creation, it's history and originality. No other Lambs will ever have this, simply because his was the first of the modern era based on the intact specimen found.I would've liked to have seen the intact specimen from which this knife's covers originated.
I'm in! Super cool giveaway, thank you for doing it and thank you for the tip in the Albers thread! Back when I was doing all of those GEC Navy Knife Lambsfoot mods, I did one that was inspired by the Ancient #15 Barlow. I have sold all of those modded knives, so I don't have one to take a picture with a condiment, but I like to say that when I was going at this ancient-ified lambsfoot, it got a little extra mustard so to say on the grinder to age the micarta. Here she is:

That must have been a great time with Neal and Dan. The Gidgee is gorgeous wood!
I love that image of your lamb with the grey poupon!
What a wonderful giveaway Barrett! That lamb has some fantastic jigging.Thank you Barrett for your amazing generosity and thoughtfulness.
WOW,btb01 - I relish the opportunity to ketchup on this challenge after it's had some thyme to marinate in my mind! If I mayo, I'll submit a pic once I've mustard up something suitable. Humbling generosity and such a unique opportunity - thanks again, Barrett! You brought the hot sauce, my friend! WOW!
Ok, ok - here's the goods (unfortunately sans condiments - stay tuned!):

HaHa, yessir, guilty as charged! Love your packet captures!I went to the drawer specifically for mustard and ketchup packets, intending to pose them like the knives. But I didn't have any red packet ketchup, only the Whataburger tubs...
A re-post of one from a few years back.

While it is indeed most assuredly true that I am in need of a new lambsfoot...
I am going to pass my entry to Leoncudgee ... Good luck mate! And thanks again Barrett for a super special GL2024 extravaganza my friend...

Not one person here would begrudge you that. What you did for this project was nothing short of extraordinary.
She is a very good judge.
Barrett, the Cranberry Relish looks fantastic, I'd love a chance at winning it. Here are my favorite condies along with my favorite Albers, blue Roper.

btb01 im in thanks for the awesome giveaway! I have hundreds of hot sauces but have been enjoying these condiments lately.
Barrett, I'd like to enter your very generous Guardians of the Condiments GAW, please!
Your daughter Scout has great taste in choosing that pickled stag bone version as the family keeper.
The GAW knife reminds me of my beloved Case chestnut jigged bone knives, none of which is a lambsfoot. So I'm excited for a chance at that sublime GL-24 variant you've put up for grabs!
I use some kind of condiment on almost every evening meal I consume. Here's a photo showing a selection of them. (I suppose I should really set up a daily rotation schedule for supper seasonings.) Best wishes to all the entrants!

Tonight I loaded up a couple hot dogs with condiments, coincidentally. My favorite lately has been this Kentucky Straight Bourbon Bacon hot sauce that a forum member recently recommended. My father in law gave me the Scorned Woman hot sauce, it’s entirely possible he was just telling me something. Thanks for throwing this epic Guardians party of ‘24 Barrett
btb01 , please consider me in!

btb01 Count me in! I’d love to have a chance to see what all the fuss over Albers is all about.
I have a big collection of hot sauces, I grabbed four from the front of the shelf. Also included is my wife’s favorite condiment. A bit too strong for me, but my son once discovered that using it in a food fight led to the immediate surrender of his opponent.

Great pics!I have to know what’s in the Grolsch bottle. I assume something homemade?
This is a pic from a year or two ago. I found the most cost effective way to get some of my favorite BBQ (because I can’t buy it in person here) was to order a case of it directly from Gates. We’ve just about finished off these bottles, too, so it’ll be time for another case soon.

Wow! Amazing GAW! I’m newer here so I hopeGuardians of the Condiments GIVEAWAY!!
Unless you’ve slept through the last 100+ pages of this thread, you’ve likely been seeing a lot of the 2024 Guardians of the Lambsfoot knives made for us by Eric Albers. Many of you have been carrying yours and sharing pics here, which has been a real treat for me. I enjoyed getting to work on this project with Eric (he did all the real work, of course, making the knives), and I’m happy that everyone seems to like the knives.
While putting the Guardians knives together, Eric ended up with a couple extra GL-24 stamped liners, a result of breaks/voids in some pieces of the vintage Micarta that made them unfit for use. Since he couldn’t really use the stamped liners for anything else, I asked Eric if he might make a couple extra knives, in whatever handle material he’d like. He kindly agreed to do so. You could call them “Eric’s Choice” if you were so inclined.
When I first reached out and asked Eric to take on the Guardians project, I had some initial (admittedly self-indulgent and far-fetched) ideas of tying the knives into the whole Guardians of the Condiments thing. I looked at some pretty out-there handle materials, including an orange and black (Henderson’s Relish colors) patterned G10 that was particularly wild.In the end we obviously went a different way, and I think the vintage Polish Micarta turned out to be a much better (and less polarizing) choice.
Now I doubt that Eric had any of that in mind when he chose the materials for the two “bonus” knives that he made (he probably doesn’t even remember me rambling on about the Guardians of the Condiments in my early emails). But he did send me two knives that, to my eye, at least, definitely have a bit of a condiment-adjacent theme to them.
Eric referred to these as Cranberry Jigged Bone and Brown/Green Stag Jigged Bone, but I think I’m going to call them “Cranberry Relish Jigged Bone” (a nod to one of my favorite Thanksgiving recipes from my grandma) and “Pickle Bone” (because how could I call that one anything else?).

I hope that y’all won’t begrudge me the decision to hang on to one of these knives myself, and my 4-year-old daughter Scout made it pretty clear that she wanted me to keep the Pickle Bone Lambsfoot, so I’m going with that one.
That means that the Cranberry Relish Lambsfoot will be going to one lucky Guardian, because this is a giveaway! The rules are pretty simple:
— You need to have at least 25 posts (prior to this post) in the Guardians thread to qualify. You’re welcome to enter on behalf of another Guardian, but they must meet the post requirement.
— Let me know that you are in for the GAW, and post a condiment-themed Lambsfoot photo.
— I’ll let this go until some time Sunday afternoon (Sept. 22) to give everyone enough time to see this and enter.
— Sometime around the middle of the week I’ll probably post an update with an opportunity for a second entry in the GAW.
— And finally, I would ask that whoever wins this knife please keep it within the Guardians group if you ever decide to move it along. I think it goes without saying in this group, but please don’t enter with the intent of selling/profiting off the knife.
So let’s see your favorite hot sauces, BBQ sauces, mustards, chili crisp, Henderson’s relish, or whatever other condiments you like (along with a Lambsfoot knife, of course). Have fun with it, get creative, and thanks again for such a great reception to the 2024 Guardians knives!

It's hotThat sounds pretty good. Is it really as hot as the four-out-of-five flames suggests?
I know I need to remedy it, hopefully maybe when this GAW is doneDefinitely a cool mod.I’ll go ahead and count you in, but in the spirit of the GAW, some actual condiment content would be appreciated if you can. (If you don’t currently have any Lambsfoot to take a new pic with — something you should obviously remedy, if that’s the case
— separate pics would be fine.)

I had a long day yesterday. Ten hours of church instead of five, because of a concert in the afternoon, then a two-hour all-store meeting at Lowe's.
The beautiful thing about our mind, a sense of wonder. Thanks, Jack. One of my faves!
