Guardians of The Lambsfoot!

Great pic 👍👍👍

...and a rather unusual toy truck
Thanks Mike. It's a UNIMOG built by mercedes. First one I ever saw was in the boondocks of Bolivia. We were sitting on one side of a river where the bridge had washed away. A Unimog showed up on the other side and, not even slowing down, dropped off into about 5 ft moving water. Drove right across like he was on the interstate. I have never forgotten it.

I don't have any words so we'll just go with a stunned "wow". 🤩🥰
So just when my heart rate is recovering you post this?! 😂😍
ha love the pin/sticker, and Pals Lamb is distinguished as ever.
Thanks a lot buddy :D :)
Barrett, thank you for the second entry! My beverage of choice when eating spicey foods is Modelo Negra, here with Diego.

Cool pic Jeff, I can drink that! :D 😋
Thanks amigo. :)

Lovely pals CDB!
Thank you brother, you sure have some cool stuff! Great pic :)

I gave up waiting for the postie in the end, which is just as well, as he was 3 hours late, and with the help of a cup of Charlie's coffee, my poor old creaking knees made it to town, and back. I picked up some shopping, and had another coffee, but balked at paying over £4 for a very lacklustre slice of cake  I recently changed pharmacist, from one in the city centre, to my local one, and they are just as bad as they were, the last time I used them, 10 years ago 😖 They sent me a text, on Monday, saying my prescription was ready, and I've since been in 4 times! 🤨 The lady on duty today, asked me if I could come back Monday, and I told her I wanted an invitation to their Christmas party, as it feels like I'm working there! :p The weather is kind of strange, and it was speckling with rain as I was walking up my street. The weather forecast for the weekend is typically mixed: Warm/Warm and wet/Thunder storms! 😣

Not sure who these 3 ladies were. I was buying some coins from my friend Maurizio, and he threw a couple of old postcards in. This one clearly even pre-dates the invention of the selfie-stick! :D

Fantastic pics there Barrett :) Your giveaway just keeps on giving buddy :)

I'll throw in another entry for Rufus1949 Rufus1949 if I may, and here's a few pics of some of my favourite beverages :)

Thanks, Jack. Great pics! I’ve got your second entry down for Bob.

Barrett, I hope this is ok. Entering for Mitch13 down under.View attachment 2665433

Of course, Bob!

I couldn't resist watching this! 🤣

That guy can definitely put it away. 😲🤣 I love that he still tried the dessert after all that.

Thanks again, btb01 btb01 , here's one from when my 2019 was newer:

IMG-2241b.jpg

I went to the Saint Arnold brewery several years back while visiting my uncle who lives near College Station. Pretty cool place, and we had some good beers.

I drink a lot of this in the summer. It's very refreshing 👍

We’ve got quite a few different flavored seltzers/sparkling waters in the house. My wife is a big fan, and I like a few of them. That one sounds pretty good. (Also sounds like it might be good mixed with some vodka…) 😁

Actually, I tried that once with a coconut sparkling water we had. Thought it would go great with some rum, but it turned out to be pretty disappointing. 🫤

I am also a bit boring in the libations department. Start the day with a cup of Earl Grey tea, and then mostly water for the rest of the day. Occasionally will have a can of ginger ale, or club soda.

One of my favorites there, Dan!

I love a Margarita. Happy to share my recipe if anyone is interested, send me a PM.

btb01 btb01 Barrett you have made this a great week. I’m having an adult beverage on Thursday! 🙌🤣👍🏻

View attachment 2665648

I think any night of the week is a good night for a tasty adult beverage. 😁

Well, they're your rules, so do what you want, but you might be missing out on a tasty beverage here...

I mean, some people enjoy drinking Bloody Marys, it can’t be much stranger than that. 😁

Oh go ahead and twist my arm to crack open a cold one😅 This has been my go to drink for the summer, probably time to find a fall drink with the weather starting to turn here in Idaho.

And here’s the pile-side picture I came here to post originally!

Nice! I’m trying to think if I’ve ever had a beer from any Idaho breweries. I don’t think I have.

Barrett, thanks for the opportunity to submit another entry in your GAW! Here are some photos of various lambsfoot knives with various beverages.

Black Jack, my ebony Guardians Lambsfoot, with Serendipity Porter, dark beer with dark knife:

Cracker Jack, my Ashley's Choice lambsfoot, with Saugatuck Brewery's Blueberry Maple Stout. The knife is tasteful, the stout doesn't lack taste, but it's not a taste I recommend:

Rosewood Union Jack with Great Lakes Brewing Edmund Fitzgerald Porter; both knife and beverage are among my favorites:

- GT

Nice dark beers, GT. I can’g imagine the blueberry maple stout might would be great. I had a maple bacon donut beer once (I think it was a Rogue Ales and Voodoo Donut collaboration), and I remember thinking it must be what Waffle House dishwater would taste like. 🤢🤣

Here's another entry for Leon if that's okay Barrett. Gotta keep his odds up. :)

Excellent pic, Dwight. 🥃

Barrett, wow, that is one fine giveaway!! Scout definitely picked a winner, but the Cranberry Relish is awfully nice as well. I almost feel guilty seeing as I haven't been a big contributing member here much recently, but darn it, I'm throwing my hat, er condiments, in the ring!

The last few years, I kept creeping up hotter and hotter, settling on a ghost pepper sauce, but after waking up in the middle of the night with my guts twisted up a few times, I eased back down a little.

It's hard to find a really hot sauce that actually tastes good. I've received a bunch of those novelty sauces from relatives over the years, and while they're hot, usually taste awful.

Unfortunately, the store has been out of my favorite habanero sauce recently. It's okay, because this is my go-to..... What I use as ketchup.... I've literally ingested gallons of this stuff over the course of time.

This BBQ sauce is pretty good with pork ribs and chicken thighs😀

My wife, Jen, saw me and asked if I was really taking pictures of a knife and a bottle of BBQ sauce, then proceeded to tease me. She's hilarious! 😂

Anyway, hope that wasn't too long winded and boring.... Don't want to earn the nickname Boring Steve! 😂

You’ve definitely got the Costco-sized bottle of Tapatio there! 😁 That BBQ sauce sounds interesting. My favorite “spicy” BBQ sauce (although it’s not all that spicy) is Gates Extra Hot.

Every now and then my brother will travel to Wisconsin to visit his wife’s family. When I can, I talk him into picking up a case of Spotted Cow for me while he’s there. It’s pretty good beer especially in the summertime. I’ll be switching to the Founders Oktoberfest in the back which will carry me into winter when I’ll switch to whiskey barrel aged stouts. My wife’s grandma found this rock somewhere locally, we have no idea what it is but it’s pretty.

Paul Jakeywax31 Jakeywax31 and Todd bigfish64 bigfish64 first introduced me to New Glarus Spotted Cow at the Badger knife show a couple years ago. It’s good stuff!

Finally home, Billy in bed and our weekly Friday night movie and popcorn with the older two underway.

Unwinding with an old fashioned and lamb.

Very nice, Jack. An old fashioned is a good way to wind down.

We did movies nights almost every Saturday with our oldest during Covid, but we’ve kind of gotten out of the habit. We’ll still do them every now and then, when there’s something new the girls want to watch.

I wish they'd stop at the Lamb! 🤣👍

🤣🤣

One thing I’ve noticed (on here sometimes, but particularly in other online knife groups) is people saying, “GEC should do a Lambsfoot on [insert pattern number here],” and nine times out of ten, it’s a pattern that would be terrible for a Lambsfoot. 🙄

Barrett, thank you for the second entry! My beverage of choice when eating spicey foods is Modelo Negra, here with Diego.

That’s a pretty good one, Jeff, especially to go with Mexican food!

Thanks, Jack. Great pics! I’ve got your second entry down for Bob.
Thank you Barrett, your giveaway has been a real bonus :)

Yeah, I reckon he'd have Tool Man beat! :D Surprisingly, he's from West Yorkshire, though I find to believe he goes out in public looking like that!
I mean, some people enjoy drinking Bloody Marys, it can’t be much stranger than that. 😁
LOL! :D Your post contains some great pearls of wisdom my friend! :D When I first started school, there were 2 twins in my class, from a sort of 'challenged' household, and one of them would down a bottle of vinegar whenever she got a chance! :D Hopefully, she's grown out of that

 They underestimate the magic ingredient - Charlie!

I’m not entirely sure we’ve even got any large scale breweries that distribute nationally, mostly local stuff. Maybe Sockeye or Payette are big enough to be bought outside the area?

That's a beauty Steve, you've done a great job of capturing that horn
Leave me out of the one on the right. Have a look at those eyes, them is crazy eyes, she would have been a handful. ;)
Too right! :D

I can't remember where I came across this pic, not sure I've ever posted it before :D Lambsfoot is by William Rodgers

I'm starting early tomorrow, and going out with my mate Matt, and his family, for the day, so I'm afraid I won't get a chance to post until tomorrow evening, if at all. Hope you all have a great weekend Guardians :) I'm going to be carrying my Hartshead Barlow

Good morning Guardians, that's me caught up! :D I hope everyone has had a good week. Pretty dull here at the moment, and I'm hoping it cheers up a bit, as I have to go into town later. Before going to bed last night, I decided to take some new pics of my Pals Lamb. I don't know what happened, but I can't find them today  So, here's an old one (don't think I've used it before). Have a good day Guardians

Always like to see Rose Beast 🌹🐑👍🤠
