Nice shot of your GL-24, Tyson, and a couple good-looking pups you got there.
Good looking Harvey shot, Will!
Glad you’re still enjoying it!
Some great character on yours, Duncan!
I know what you mean about feeling more productive when you’re up early in the morning… but I still don’t like it.That said, I think I’ve just come up with the perfect compromise. I’m going to start waking up at 5 AM New Zealand time.
That’s a beaut, Charlie!
Always nice when you can get that sort of thing done early in the day. Nothing worse than sitting around waiting all day for someone to show up to fix something.
Cool pic, Bob. I’m not a collector of currency or coins, but I do find it interesting.
Is that grease spatter on the blade? Must be how you tell you’ve got an authentic Aussie sausage sizzle.
The ones I’ve been getting have been all over the place, from both sides, and mostly of the mudslinging variety.
Thanks, GT. I took that a while back for some Guardian’s birthday and have reposted it a few times since, so it’s not new new, but it is a lot newer than the other one I’ve been posting elsewhere on the Porch for years.
Sounds like a good trip, Paul. Sorry your nephew’s team didn’t win.
I was looking at your breakfast pic trying to decipher if there were some biscuits under that gravy. Guess I should’ve just read your whole post.
That’s some cool looking wood on that one, Steve!
This week has been fairly uneventful. I’ve mostly been home with Scout who’s been a bit under the weather. I was hoping it would be a short-lived kind of thing, but this afternoon she seemed to be doing worse and was having some trouble breathing, so we went ahead and took her to urgent care. She got some x-rays, a nebulizer and a prescription, so hopefully she’ll be feeling better soon.
Had my Ringed Gidgee Albers in my pocket today.

Had our first frost of the season this morning. I wasn't prepared for it! I went out to start the truck this morning and when i hit the wipers I heard that all familiar scraping noise...
I hope all you Guardians have a warm and wonderful day!
btb01 Barrett , I hope Scout makes a quick recovery!
We had some rain early this morning (about the time I get up) and it’s real foggy now. It should be all clear for the trick or treaters tonight. Unfortunately where I live I have no neighbors with kids. If I was going out trick or treating I would have liked to go out as the Australian Olympic Break dancer. I think I could do her kangaroo pose. That cracked me up. Hatchet Jack do you know her? It’s possible….
Here’s a pic of my lamb for today. And I hope Jack can make it today to the market.

Cool pics GaryI spent almost 4 hours today taking care of fallen leaves in the yard. Very windy today, and by the time I "finished" my leaf pick-up, most of the lawn was well on its way to being buried again.I also took the dog for a 3-mile walk, browned 3 lbs. of ground turkey, did some "schedule research", and wrote some emails. After only about 4 hours of decent sleep last night, I was quite tired by late afternoon.
But I heard some eerie (and almost irresistible) music, so I followed my ears and came to this house almost half a mile from my house.

It's a nice house that often has a couple of big dogs sitting on the pillars near the front door, but what's that bone-chilling sight on the balcony over the front door??

A pair of stylishly-dressed, jazzy (and bony) musicians blowing their horns! The music was so compelling that some skeleton dogs, some giant black spiders, and even Cracker Jack, my stag lambsfoot, were drawn to the feet of the players!

Totally mate, especially when they don't turn up!Always nice when you can get that sort of thing done early in the day. Nothing worse than sitting around waiting all day for someone to show up to fix something.
Hope the little sausage is OK now Barrett, and that the girls have a fun HalloweenThis week has been fairly uneventful. I’ve mostly been home with Scout who’s been a bit under the weather. Thanks a lot pal, nothing directly to do with me, but I needed to support a friend who is having some family problemsI hope you were able to quell the emergency Jack.
Your health is more important than the market.
Looking good Jer

Classy pic Steve, and great news about the rainGood morning Guardians !
We finally are getting some needed rain here. Woke up to a downpour that has turned to a light steady rain. It may turn to snow later but it won't stick. We really needed to get some moisture into the ground before it freezes for the winter.
