Guardians of The Lambsfoot!

Good evening Guardians. And happy Halloween too! Going to a neighbor's home shortly for "Chili night". Lots of different recipes will be on hand. Going to carry my trusty HHB.

An absolute scorcher Bill- what a beauty!

Two old campaigners Mitch ;)

Nice lines on that one Jack, and a great pic :)

Cool pics Gary :)

Classy pic Steve, and great news about the rain :)

Thanks pal !
Good afternoon Dave, I won't be doing much for Halloween, just doing some work, and probably falling asleep early! 🥱 When I finally made it to the market, Tool Man was on good form, and Mrs Tool Man had just called in, on her way to Wilkinson Villas :D There was still a good selection of cake available, but Boring Ray was away at the coast with his family, and no doubt having a few disasters (I'm wondering if he has passed on the Black Spot! ) As a typically Tool Man Halloween prank, Tool Man had been telling those who had enquired about Ray's absence that he had in fact shuffled off this mortal coil (which considering he is in Skegness, is only a partial exaggeration) Harry Hotballs, Barry The Ted, Gravel, and Slimline Scott had all visited, along with Old Shirley. No doubt, they will all be there again next week, including Boring Ray, if he makes it back from Skeggy in one piece ;)

Have a great Halloween Guardians 🎃

Thanks for the report. Pal lamb is looking good !

Last minute errand to the store for some costume modifications for the kids. It’s pretty cold. I’ll be surprised if those kids last 30 min out here 😂. Got the stagged Charlie lamb today.

I've had fireworks going off outside since it went dark, but I'm so tired, I keep forgetting its Halloween. I never do much, but I usually watch a couple of classic horror films or something. However, tonight I've been working, and actually got a lot more done than expected, so I'm pretty pleased with that :) Have a great time, and I'm glad your Hartshead Barlow gets to join in the fun :)
Thanks buddy 👍 Hope you get some much needed rest. 👍🤠
Cheers pal, me too! 🥴

LOL! :D Good for you Paul, I hope the kids have a great time :) That's a real Bobby Dazzler my friend :)

I hope Scout is all the way well soon!
Barrett, I hope the meds are helping Scout.🙏
Oh No! :(😞 Please keep us informed about wee Scout! Fingers crossed for her!
Hope Scout is on the mend, ice cream is a wonderful medicine..
Barrett, I hope Scout is feeling better soon mate ♥️👍
I hope Scout starts feeling better today 👍
btb01 btb01 Barrett , I hope Scout makes a quick recovery!

Thanks guys! She’s definitely feeling better today. She still had to stay home from pre-school, which was a bummer because they were doing Halloween stuff today. She is going to put on her costume for a bit and at least trick-or-treat at a few of our closest neighbors, but she’ll probably sit out on the whole trek around the neighborhood that Eleanor wants to do. 😁

Very nice grain on Gidge.👍🏻

Definitely! And it’s one of those that looks even better in person than in pictures.

lol, ok, let's see how long that lasts for Barrett! 🤣

Hey, 5 AM there is 11 AM (the day before) here. Sounds good to me! 😁

Couple of perfect lambs for today, Bob!

Hope the little sausage is OK now Barrett, and that the girls have a fun Halloween :) That's one heck of a good-looking Lamb my friend :)

Thanks, Jack. I’m sure they’ll have fun, although the weather could certainly be better. It was in the 70s here a couple days ago — unseasonably warm for Minnesota in late October — but last night the temperature dropped and it started raining, which then turned into wet, slushy snow this morning, and it’ll be in the 30s for trick-or-treating. Hooray. 🤣

I might have to bring a flask of something to keep me warm. 😁

Have fun, Paul. 😁 We’ve had some pretty cold Halloweens since we’ve lived in MN, but Eleanor usually toughs it out pretty well. Gotta get that candy. 🤣

A flask is an excellent idea....medicinal purposes only, I'm sure.

Thanks Barrett, two of my heavier ones.

Funny, when I taught, the kids were always more excited about Halloween than Christmas.

Thanks, David. You’ve been carrying some gems yourself!!
Beauty Paul.
Hey, don't they need 30 minutes for your share alone?
They need a solid hour for my share or they get stuck with the candy corn and black jelly beans 😂
Man that looks gorgeous!
Thanks, Duncan. A classic Glenn stag job.

Happy to report that they are still out there. I had to dip out to go to work but they are filling the sugar bank nicely.

Last "seasonal" lambsfoot photos for me, at least for the Halloween "season".
I'm no expert on human anatomy, including the skeletal system. So as I walk around the neighborhoods, I've not been able to discern whether a given human skeleton is male or female, or what race it is, or how old it is. How am I going to tell if neighbors are in compliance with DEI regulations?? So I welcome the skeletons of species other than human that some people include in their public displays. At least I can see inter-species diversity on the part of those folks!
Cracker Jack and Union Jack wanted to show their support for the inclusion of other species in skeletal displays.

Oak again,

Earlier in the week Kristy had cortisone injection in the arm, so took a couple of days to rest. Yesterday wanted to go shopping for a new blanket for the bedroom, nearly as exciting as dress shopping.
Anyway got lunch at a Cafe we hadn't tried before. I got the special bacon & egg roll for $12, Kristy has southern style chicken burger, was pretty good.

Nice package today!! From Italy to France, then to Canada!! Jean-Marc helped to broker and deliver this great Lamb from Cosimo; number 10 in his series!!View attachment 2697263View attachment 2697264View attachment 2697265
I have to say, this knife has perfect action!! Just hard enough at opening to not break a thumbnail, and progressively more firm into half-stop, and very firm to full open!! Perfectly regulated IMO!!!View attachment 2697397
The finish is perfect; nicely jigged and dyed handles, and multipley rat-tailed bolsters!!
A beauty to behold!! Very nice work Cosimo!! And thanks for the first class service J-M!!

That bone though❤️
