Yeah, reckon it'll be the same here soon Charlie. Bonfire Night is a far cry from when I was a kid, and every back yard, garden, street-corner, park, and bomb-site had a bonfire. I still treasure the memory of my father being chased round the yard by a Jumping Jack, fastest I ever saw him move! 🤣 🤣 🤣

Is that a specialist farmer's newspaper Leon, there seem to be some great lamb pics in the Aussie press? :) Nice-looking Lamb too, quite unusual to see a Candle-end in Rosewood :thumbsup:

Yes it is a weekly farmers newspaper. Been buying it forever, but it is not a patch on what it used to be. Sadly, was once a great read that had a heap of interesting stuff in it. Mate i had the Candle End Lamb custom made, i ordered a couple, it strays off the original Lamb design, i fully realize that, but just wanted something a bit different. And they do sit beautifully in the hand.
 
We've never had fireworks on Hallowe'en. And we don't do Guy Fawkes.

It occurred to me yesterday, too late, that I could have dressed as the guy from V for Vendetta at work. I have a big black raincoat, a flat-brimmed black hat, a false mustache (but no chin-whiskers). Maybe I'll order the mask so I'm ready next year.

Yeah it's 1 of my pet hates, don't come the doctors if you have flu like symptoms crazy.
Don't worry governments are going to start a new social policy.
