Nice LambA little bit of social licence to talk about current matters does not hurt and gives this Thread it's character. As long as we don't stray too far off course.![]()

RoperGreat story, Duncan, Maisy sounds like a real winner! After lugging my big stockman running around all day, I'm now at home with Roper in pocket.

Rich texture
Oh yeah, my recliner gets a workout!Good to hear you get to put your feet up Jeff.
It is a beautiful little knife.Nice Lamb
That knife looks amazing, Leopard Micarta!
I know lots of folks, who aren't farmers, who watch a weekly farmers programme on the TV, or listen to one on the radio. I can understand it with the newspaper mate. There used to be a bunch of weekly fishing newspapers here, but not the same anymoreYes it is a weekly farmers newspaper. Been buying it forever, but it is not a patch on what it used to be. Sadly, was once a great read that had a heap of interesting stuff in it.
I wouldn't say that, but thought it was unusual to see your Wright's version with those coversMate i had the Candle End Lamb custom made, i ordered a couple, it strays off the original Lamb design, i fully realize that, but just wanted something a bit different. And they do sit beautifully in the hand.
Nice to relax Jeff!Great story, Duncan, Maisy sounds like a real winner! After lugging my big stockman running around all day, I'm now at home with Roper in pocket.

It's a broke piece of a artifact. Use to hunt arrowheads in the plowed fields after a rain. Osage Flint is a local Flint that is tan or a golden color before it was heat treated. After heat treatment it turns a reddish color usually. What's the story with the flint David?Bogy is looking good

Thanks palEric and Barrett did a great job

Good morning Guardians, got up at 5am, which was probably unnecessary, but I couldn't sleep. I'm going into town with Matt later, and meeting up with a few other folks. Weather doesn't look up to much unfortunately, but it's time to get used to that again I guessI hope you all have a great weekend, and enjoy carrying your Lambs

I wouldn't say that, but thought it was unusual to see your Wright's version with those coversHere's one with stag. Wright's just had a few pieces of old Sambar left over from steak knives. The pieces weren't big enough for their medium-sized Swayback frame, so they did me 3 little 'uns, and had 2 pieces big enough to cover a candle-end
Campbellclanman might recognise that ancient graveyard, as we had a brief look round it, but that photo was taken from the fence, before you could actually walk round it
Nice to relax Jeff!![]()

It's nice to have friends with the right equipment !
Thanks for your very kind comments Jack as usual. We had about 15 couples show up and the kids started pouring in. Them little buggers hit the jack pot! No pun intended.I've had fireworks going off outside since it went dark, but I'm so tired, I keep forgetting its Halloween. I never do much, but I usually watch a couple of classic horror films or something. However, tonight I've been working, and actually got a lot more done than expected, so I'm pretty pleased with thatHave a great time, and I'm glad your Hartshead Barlow gets to join in the fun

Cheers pal, me too!
LOL!Good for you Paul, I hope the kids have a great time
That's a real Bobby Dazzler my friend

One mighty fine LF knife! This Rosecraft lambsfoot Senator just arrived. Sandalwood covers. 3.5” with a 2.7” D2 blade sharpened very nicely and centered. I could pinch it open if I have to. Probably a 7 pull. Seems the same as other Rosecrafts I have. Has a half stop. I’m quite happy with it this past hour.
Jack Black that is a fine hot dog you had there. I like hot dogs and pictures of them too. Here’s a pic of this knife.
