Great ironwood Will.Ahoy Guardians!
Apologies for my prolonged absence, but I recently found myself falling down a sowbelly rabbit hole and, I swear, it took a while for me to realize that I have at least 4 sowbelly knives blessed with lambfoot blades.
Here's the one I'm carrying today:

Now, please do pardon as I've got 20-something pages of this thread to catch up on. Hope all the Guardians that celebrate had a joyous Thanksgiving and aren't in too bad of sorts from the excessive feasting. Myself, I went to a Chinese restaurant for Dim Sum and left it at that. Bizarre, I know, but there it is.![]()
Enjoy the holiday Everyone!!

I spatchcocked this one, dry brined it for about 24 hours, then cooked it at about 325Β°F. Took about 2 hours.
Nice grill - what brand is it?

Good evening Guardians, I just got back home, after going to see something at the theatre. Before that though, I had quite an encounter! I had got the time wrong, so was an hour early, so I went for a coffee at the theatre cafe. There were only 2 other customers, sat at 2 separate tables, a young woman, who it turns out lives just up the road from me, and a man, who was a few years younger than me, and was in a wheelchair. They both knew each other slightly, as they were part of an amateur drama group, and performing at their annual show. It turned out that they were both from Sheffield, originally, so we got chatting. As the cafe started to get more crowded, we all ended up on the same table. After about 45 minutes, I got up to leave, and we exchanged names. It turned out that the gent in the wheelchair had lived in the area I grew up, and went to the same junior school. He knew my brother, sister, parents, and me!Small world! But that's Sheffield

I hope everyone has a good day. I've done a ton of work this past couple of days, and tomorrow I'm off to Bradford first thing, so I probably won't get a chance to check in, before tomorrow evening. So, I hope you all have a great Saturday Guardians, and I'll catch up with you over the weekend
