Guardians of The Lambsfoot!

Good looking bike, Bob. I’ve been thinking a lot lately about getting one myself, probably a result of 60 miles of trail walking while being constantly passed by cyclists. (“On your left!”) 😁 I guess this probably isn’t a great time of year to buy a bike in Minnesota; if I got one today, I’d have a month or so to ride it, then it would sit in the garage until spring.

Old pic, but I had my Albers 2024 Guardians Lamb with me again today.

A classic lamb with an interesting history...going up!

Thanks Barrett, military discounts helped. I will ride bundled up, but not in the snow, cleaning bike then is a pain.

My sister and I are meeting my elder niece and her husband for dinner. They come up from St. Louis once a year. Unfortunately my brother is up north for the weekend.
I've got tomorrow off, so I'll actually have a weekend. There's a protest that will fill our parking lot, if it gets as much enthusiasm as the last one. We'll have a lot of people asking where the restrooms are, and nobody asking where to find something to buy. So I'm happy I got the day off, and surprised everybody else didn't want it.
I fuss further in advance than a lot of people do, though, perhaps.

It sounds like you're going to have a great weekend Jer, I sure hope so buddy :) Nice pic

I had to call in the pharmacy, as they missed my BP medication off my last prescription, and then saw the BP quack at the surgery. I called in at Charlie's cafe. It has been dead all week, and the new discount bakery that has opened a few yards away is clearly hitting their trade. Hisham seems a bit oblivious. My first stop in town was at the bank, but weirdly they only had Scottish notes available! Since barely any English businesses accept them, I passed, and just took care of my other business  Just having a cuppa, and a Bakewell slice 😋

I hope your BP is getting under control . Why wouldn't English businesses accept Scottish currency ?

Nice pic of L'Ariete 👍

Cool pic Rick :)
RALF is back in action today. Homebound, but he'll get some use; I've got some reloading to do.

Go to it RALF! :D I was talking about reloading with Tool Man the other day. Firearms is something he has no direct experience of, and I've not done any shooting since the mid 90's!
Good morning and happy Friday !

A fine choice my friend :)

Sheer bloody awkwardness! I had a girlfriend from Belfast 20 years ago, and every time she came over, it was easier to just draw more money out of the bank than to try and spend the Northern Irish currency. Retailers would rather miss out on a sale! 🤨 I never had a problem when I went over there, same in Scotland. This morning, at the bank, the cashier told me businesses "HAD" to accept Scottish notes because they're "legal tender", as if I didn't know that, and as if she didn't know I wouldn't be able to get rid of them
Nice pic of L'Ariete 👍
Thank you Steve :)
