Guardians of The Lambsfoot!

RALF is back in action today. Homebound, but he'll get some use; I've got some reloading to do.

Now I need some twisted iced tea to go with this twisted lamb.View attachment 3001506

Nice picture Bob !

Thanks pal, my current average is 124/72

Good to hear it !
Sheer bloody awkwardness! I had a girlfriend from Belfast 20 years ago, and every time she came over, it was easier to just draw more money out of the bank than to try and spend the Northern Irish currency. Retailers would rather miss out on a sale! 🤨 I never had a problem when I went over there, same in Scotland. This morning, at the bank, the cashier told me businesses "HAD" to accept Scottish notes because they're "legal tender", as if I didn't know that, and as if she didn't know I wouldn't be able to get rid of them

😎👍🤠
Thanks, Jack. It is odd how the trail just ends there, although if you look closely you can see that there’s still a rough trail that continues along the old railroad bed, which is used by snowmobiles in winter. (I also noticed as I got out toward the more rural western end of the trail that the NO MOTORIZED VEHICLES signs posted along the trail changed to NO MOTORIZED VEHICLES - EXCEPT SNOWMOBILES.)

Good looking bike, Bob. I’ve been thinking a lot lately about getting one myself, probably a result of 60 miles of trail walking while being constantly passed by cyclists. (“On your left!”) 😁 I guess this probably isn’t a great time of year to buy a bike in Minnesota; if I got one today, I’d have a month or so to ride it, then it would sit in the garage until spring.

Thanks, Duncan. I’m glad you enjoyed it.:thumbsup:

Old pic, but I had my Albers 2024 Guardians Lamb with me again today.

Good to see your GL-24 🐑👍🤠
My sister and I are meeting my elder niece and her husband for dinner. They come up from St. Louis once a year. Unfortunately my brother is up north for the weekend.
I've got tomorrow off, so I'll actually have a weekend. There's a protest that will fill our parking lot, if it gets as much enthusiasm as the last one. We'll have a lot of people asking where the restrooms are, and nobody asking where to find something to buy. So I'm happy I got the day off, and surprised everybody else didn't want it.
I fuss further in advance than a lot of people do, though, perhaps.

Nice 🐑👍🤠
Good morning Guardians, I hope everyone has had a good week. Mine has passed quickly. I did have work to do a couple of evenings, and I have to work on Sunday, but it has left me alone much of the week. Probably not going to be like that for the next week or two, but for now I can take it easy ;) I have to go in and see the Blood Pressure feller this morning, and then I have to do some grocery shopping. Still hoping Wolfie might get time for a coffee :) Hope you all have a good day Guardians, and that you're looking forward to the weekend. Carrying L'Ariete today :)

Hope your BP is ok.🐑😍😎👍🤠

Jack, if you ever come to Florida I'll take you shooting . . . and I don't mean wrist rockets!
Thanks Jeff, I'd love that :) I lived in Beirut at one time, but I've not shot regularly since the mid 80's. That's how far back the gun silliness goes here
Hope your BP is ok.🐑😍😎👍🤠
It's fine at the moment apparently, the guy I saw, who is a pharmacist rather than a doctor, reckoned it must be down to the new tablets he prescribed me. Then I told him about the cock-up at the pharmacy, and that I hadn't taken those tablets! :D

Good Evening Guardians, I see I am way behind on this tread and will need a few days to catch up. I hope I have finally caught up with the home front and can spend so time looking at all these fine examples of the lamb.
