Good morning Guardians, I hope everyone is easing into a good weekend The sun is out here! I took a couple of friends out for something to eat last night, and we ended up going for curry at a place I've been going to for 25 years. It's a small family place that serves great food. All was going well until a large group (19) of loud, drunken students ('frat boy' types) turned up, and pretty much ruined things. Unfortunately a feature of university towns here, but they don't usually get in that place. Hope they went into town after, and got their teeth knocked out We ended up cutting dinner short, and going to a sort of shisha place for some nice Arabic tea, which was more pleasant. I quite enjoyed not drinking any alcohol last night! I'm off into town in a bit, and meeting up with one or two other pals, probably get lunch, but then I have a few things to do at home Carrying this wee Rodgers in my pocket today Have a great weekend Guardians

It's hard getting older as the mind is still the same, in the mind you walk over- no words and take number 1 out and then its all go- nowadays my minds doing this, then I get out of the chair and hear the noise I utter that reminds me I am no longer young

Thanks pal, half the time with the 'Posh English', they're not even aware they're being rude, they're just naturally pig-ignorant, and twice as loud as anyone else Also too stupid to know that area had the highest street-crime ranking in the UK just a few years ago, and that carrying on like that could get them seriously hurt (a couple of years ago, Wolfie was boxing at a club across the road, and there were youngsters fighting with machetes outside)

I wish I had £1 for every time some youngster told me: "Age is just a number"!

You have a better memory than me Jer! Yes, it's crazy, you can have a machete, so long as it doesn't have more than one hole in the blade, is not painted green, does not have 'Zombie' written on the side, and doesn't have a saw-back! Nicely-balanced my friend

My appointment with beer turned out to be a couple of hours earlier than I thought, so I'm just having a Jamaica Patty with Maria Sharp's Smoked Habanero, and I'll be heading out

Good morning Guardians !


Well, we're getting it pretty good by the snow storm. We got close to ten inches here overnight and it's still snowing. It's a bit deeper on my deck. I have to keep it clear as it's the flat roof over my garage. My electric snow blower was struggling a bit but got it done. I'll have to do it a couple of more times so it doesn't get as deep. It's supposed to keep snowing through the day and into the night. Thankfully I don't have to shovel anything else other than my deck.

To contrast the weather a little, high about 80 today. But you probably don't get hurricanes in our season lol.

Spring break for little man so we're out and about. Mini golf then ? He's never been so we're excited. Maybe some lollygagging later if I'm lucky. Felt like a stainless Barlow sort of day.
