Guardians of The Lambsfoot!

The gentleman of graciousness has struck again.
Jack was kind enough to send me a care package from across the pond.
He must have known I was running low on Henderson's.
To keep it company, Jack gifted me this fine stag lamb. A treasure that will be carried, reminding me of the friendships that abound here.
The wee little books give me an insight to the gentlemen of Yorkshire...interesting.

Thanks Jack.20260317_040518.jpg

One of the perks is you can get seniors lunches/meals at a lot of pubs for about 1/2 price. But there is a catch, and there is always a catch    they are also about 1/2 the size. 🤣🤣🤣🤣. Happy Saint Paddy's Day. 🍀🍀🍀🍀🍀🍀
Cheers Leon! 😊 I know the sort of thing you mean mate. They were common here once, but have been declining since the 1960's 🙄 At least the Guinness is half price today 😉👍

Today is my 55th birthday, so after church Dawn took me and the dogs to our favorite local winery. The were pouring some library wines - we ended up bringing home a 2009 blend they make that is outstanding (among other things).

We probably need a bigger wine fridge - having enough bottles is how I feel prosperous.

Ashwin lamb along for the day.

Belated happy birthday wishes, Tyson! 🎁🍀

The store's former janitorial staff are home applying for positions at the bank for which they will be deemed overqualified. After they find out the reason for their refusal, some will likely be inspired to examine the situation philosophically or to emotionally process it through the creation of works of art. Maybe that's what they meant? 😂

I can picture a future time in which nearly all jobs; including barbers, neurosurgeons, receptionists, jockeys, astronauts, zamboni operators, umpires, etc, are all determined to be either too critical or too impractical (expensive) to be performed by humans who, by such a time, will likely be incapable of tasks that current people would consider foundational. Like applying underarm deodorant or counting up to the number six.
