Guardians of The Lambsfoot!

Good morning Guardians !

Carrying Slick πŸ‘ today. Happy St. Patrick's day to those who celebrate it πŸ‘

We have more snow forecasted for later today and then a big warm up later in the week.

Very slick indeed Steve πŸ˜ŠπŸ‘
Cool pic Bob πŸ€πŸ˜πŸ‘
This is so like Jack! What a wonderful guy!
Well done to both you guys as both of you are extremely generous and deserving!
Thank you Duncan, I hope your ears haven't been burning! 😁 I bumped into a neighbour who was heading over to York for a couple of days, and I was telling her about how much fun we had. Then today, York came up again, and so I mentioned you again πŸ™‚πŸ‘
Thanks Steve. They even closed the schools, just because it was cold.🫀
You do that kind of thing here sometimes too Bob! Never happened when I was a kid! πŸ€”
True, Jack gives freely with gifts and his knowledge of cutlery.
You are all very kind to me πŸ˜ŠπŸ‘
I don’t have a green lamb for St. Patrick’s Day so here’s a favorite in a green environment. Cheers to all the Guardians. Stay safe out there. πŸ€πŸ₯ƒπŸ‘

Great pic Dave πŸ˜ŽπŸ‘

Finished up rehandling the 2 blade bex that Jack sent me in his giveaway. It is not pretty, my peening needs a lot of work. Had a hard time peening inside the rattail on the bolsters. Pins are a bit ragged, but, I didn't want to file down any closer as I didn't get the countersink very deep.
Master blade ended up low, so I had to cut in a small access notch.

Nice job Danno ! πŸ‘

Had a good day. Past the hard part of my classes so it’s smooth sailing from here. Enjoyed some local cuisine for dinner. Not really local. It’s Taco Cabana. My favorite Tex Mex spot.

Glad to hear that things are going well πŸ‘

Afternoon Guardians! I've got some Irish blood so I guess I better have some green today.

Wow, fantastic work Dan, well done  I watched a video recently where a guy used two screwdrivers when peening a rattail bolster. He laid the stem of each screwdriver in the groove of the bolster, put it against the stiddy, and hammered the top screwdriver, then reversed the knife to do the same again πŸ‘

Congratulations Paul, well done 😊 A well-deserved feast! πŸ˜‹πŸ˜πŸ‘

Good morning Guardians, I hope everyone is well, and having a good week. My plans changed a bit yesterday, and I ended up meeting up with my pals in the nearby town of Huddersfield, rather than the village of Slaithwaite, 5 miles or so on the other side. We had a few pints, and some reasonable food, and I got to wake up in my own bed, which I appreciate more and more as I get older :D The weather was beautiful yesterday, and it looks nice today soon. I have to wait in for a delivery unfortunately, and reply to some work emails, but I'll be going out after that, even if it's only for a coffee. I have L'Ariete in my pocket :) Have a great day Guardians

Glad your plans worked out Jack.

At my age, waking up the next day in any bed is a plus.🀣

Thanks Steve and Jack. I got a guy to build up the tang by welding and then ground it back down. The action is a little rough, but, it is useable.
This is still my favourite.

I used this method to tighten up the joint of one of mine πŸ‘

Always nice to come home to your own bed, glad you had nice weather for your trip πŸ‘

Going to the vampire to have some blood drawn.
My new primary doctor, that I saw yesterday, turned out to be a very funny and personable Egyptian lady.

Enjoy your day everyone.
