Cool pic David :)

Fantastic pics Steve :)

Thanks buddy and for the pictures !

Good morning Guardians, and Eid Mubarak! Ramadan may be over, but Jent still has another 10 days to run ;) I've got used to being without my sourdough toast in the morning, and hopefully have lost a few pounds :D I hope everyone has had a good week, the sunshine has made a big difference here, but it's cloudy so far today. The weeks seem to go so fast, I can't believe the weekend is nearly here. Carrying my Pals Lamb today, a knife I'm very grateful for :) Have a great day Guardians

Love the sign Jack and good to see Pals lamb as well !

Happy Friday to you. Jack, a belated thanks for the Market Report. Glad to hear the Ted’s are doing well and the Market attendance is picking up with the better weather.
It’s been speedo weather here, high 80’s to low 90’s. Thank God I don’t have a speedo. If the weather continues like this it’ll be the hottest March we’ve had here. Santa Cruz is on the North end of the Monterey Bay. Whales already are migrating by. As I marine biologist like George Constanza, I would guess maybe the warmer water is the reason. Today I endeavor to do some gardening. I’m doing that early this morning when it’s cooler. Here’s a pic of the bay from earlier this week.

Nice Ebony on that one !

Very nice Steve :)

Thanks buddy !

I'm very sorry to hear about your wife Bob ☹️ I think I have had mine about 18 years, and after several years, the cause was eventually diagnosed as Silent Reflux. I have a hiatus hernia, but they probably won't operate at my age 👍

😂👍

My grandfather always used to say, "It's not the cough that carries you off! It's the coffin they carry you off in!"
I think my ashes are going down the loo.😅

Thanks a lot Steve :) I once spotted a beautiful old scythe at a car-boot sale, and was quite tempted, but I had gone there on the bus, and I thought that standing by the side of the road, dressed in black, with a large scythe, on a quiet Sunday morning, might lead to a car accident! ;)

My kids used to love this book, and when I sometimes used to use it when I taught English in France :) Nostalgia recently had me thinking of it, and I thought I'd order a copy, have a look at it for old time's sake, and then pass it onto someone with young children. I hadn't even opened the package though, when I bumped into Hisham and his son, on Ryan's birthday, so I handed it over. Of course I then had to order another! :D

I found this thread down at the bottom of the page. I hope everyone is doing well and has a great weekend ahead. We have some nice weather forecasted here, should be in the 80s. 😎 It might be time to get the kayak out on the lake before the boaters start to flock in.

Looks classy Rachel 😎👍
Great pic Steve 😊👍

Thank you, Jack. I don't suppose it's a traditional pattern for a Lambsfoot blade, nor for a Doctor's Knife, but it is classy looking. I just opened the tube this afternoon, but it looks like it'll be nice and functional, too.
I've never seen a British-made Doctor's Knife I don't think Rachel, but Lambsfoot blades have been used on lots of different patterns, and I certainly don't think it looks incongruous. The Lambsfoot fits that frame nicely. I hope you enjoy it 🙂👍
