The home inspector was here this morning, we will know on Thursday if its a go. I sure don't want to go through this stress again that's for sure.
Oh yeah, my wife booked a hearing test in Calgary for me on Monday, I don't know why? :D

Funny you should mention the hearing test. After three months of my General Practitioner treating me for a "stopped up" left ear, he gave up and sent me to an Ear Nose & Throat specialist who examined me and said - "the only thing that is gonna help your left ear problem is a hearing aid." :D I said ... "huh?"

Allow me Jack to lay some more knife content on this baby - :D - View attachment 1107708
I can tell how excited you are Dwight. And rightfully so. I’ve grown accustomed to the apparent fact that covers on these Sheffield Lambs don’t always match. I see it now as a plus. On yours, each side is gorgeous. A beautiful brown on one side, and a handsome black on the other. Photographically speaking, it’s like having two knives. And the Damascus pattern is out of this world on all of these knives. Happy for you my friend, as well as the others.

Jack Black Jack Black deserves big time Kudos for his vision in creating this project. Simply Brilliant, Jack.

As for hearing, funny or strange as it might sound, I cherish my hearing loss. Half the the things I hear, I wish I didn’t.:)

A most apropos post my friend. I love the disparate scales for the exact reasons you stated. An I concur on your salute to our Jack Black. He has been on a roll the past couple of years. Like a rocket on rails. Thank you Harvey.

I postponed that for years! I usually only wear the hearing aids for court hearings and if I want to hear the dialogue on television (which I seldom watch; mostly watch baseball and old movies).

I figure that's what's going to happen to me :( The one problem I have had for at least 30 years is ringing in the ears. One day I realized they were ringing 24/7
and has never stopped  If it's too quiet in the house it can just about drive you over the bend, so I always have some sort of white noise on a fan or air cleaner unit going.

Yeah, I sleep with the fan on.

One of my totes for Wednesday.

I’ve had hearing difficulties all my life. Originally it was from a wax build up in the inner ear(not from dirty ears, silly:)). This led to a lifetime of ENT visits. I didn’t help matters by overexposing myself to loud music, playing in a band, and constantly assauting my hearing, listening with headphones.

I can’t do anything about all the cilia I’ve destroyed, but I have been taught a way cleaning my ears with Debrox, water, and a bulb plunger. I’m too stubborn to get a hearing aid.

Ok, Ok... Lambsfoot content.:)
