Guardians of The Lambsfoot!

Thank you Will, here's the sub-forum guidelines on the issue

"In order to avoid Terms Of Service (TOS) violations, please omit links or referrals to vendors within the forum. ("Deal Spotting" is a violation of the TOS.)
We want the forum to focus upon the discussion of traditional knives...not the purchasing process, prices nor vendors and their websites.

The exception to the rule above is that you may refer other members to vendors who support bladeforums.com via a "Dealer" membership.

Otherwise, if someone inquires where you made a purchase, please take a moment to provide them with the requested information via email or PM.
Do not publish prices or links within the threads as this may be construed as shilling for a particular vendor and violate the TOS."

Sorry about the coloured ink, couldn't easily get rid of it as it originally denoted hyperlinks

Thanks Dwight, actually Jerry under-blades all his folders. However, he did make this interesting knife

It would have been in the first half of the 1980's Preston, when our gun laws were RELATIVELY relaxed  Those are cool pics, it must be great having all that open country :)

Amazing pics Dwight, I knew we would see some great ones of the Damascus knives here :)

Cool key-fob Vince, goes nicely with your AC

Good luck Dave

LOL! :D

Outstanding Dwight, keep 'em coming! :)

Thanks Harvey, it is an exhausting process trying to drag the Sheffield cutlers into the 19th century  ;)

I don't think they really understand about matching stag. At one time the big Sheffield firms would have had someone who dealt with that perhaps. I'm not sure Wright's even pair it in advance, they may do, but it might be that the cutler just picks pieces out of a box. I'll try bringing it up, but I always have a long list of what, though they aren't, sound like complaints. I'd be happy to spend a couple of hours matching their stag up for them

Thanks Dwight, it's not always been easy

That's a terrible thing Dave, I have another pal with the same problem :( I'm amazed that my own hearing has survived seemingly intact, at the moment, it's one of the few things that still works as it should! :D

Maybe I'll make you a tape to play in the quiet moments my friend, with the words 'DON'T FORGET THE LAMBSFOOT CONTENT!' endlessly repeating! ;) :D

You too Vince? :(

:D

Thanks for the pic ;) :)

Cool pic Harvey, nice SAmbar on your Candle-end, there aren't too many of those

Morning Guardians, hope a few more packages show up today, enjoying everyone's pics :)

Thought I'd carry my ebony '18 for a change :)

I almost spit out my coffee with your remark about the tape you were going to make.:)

dc50 dc50 My wife isn’t always amused with my constant “What?.”:) Nice pic.

@pjsjr Thank you. It’s a chromed Davis Industries 33.acp. Perfect for wes’kit carry.:) That’s a nice shootin iron.

Half/Stop Half/Stop Hope it arrives quickly, but that one is very nice.

Good Morning Guardians.

As the great philosopher Forest Gump once said: “And that’s all I have to say about that.”:);)

Hope it gets to you today Ron, but that ebony sure is nice :)
I’m afraid it won’t be today Jack. According to the tracking it’s 25 miles away. Hopefully tomorrow! Thanks for the compliment. :)

Hope your Damascus Lambsfoot arrives soon, Ron. That nice Ebony one will suffice...at leas for a while.

Guardians, it's not a nice morning here, fog, drizzle and the threat of rain and snow today and tomorrow. Tracking shows that my Damascus Lambsfoot left the UK on the 5th...but, nothing since then. Oh well, I do have a few toys to play with:D:thumbsup: Hope your day is a good one.

Thanks for the compliment Harvey! It looks like you have received a package from our friend Jack!:D

Thank you Jack, sorry about your restless, sleepless night. Do you have any clue as to what might have caused it?
I realize that tracking can only happen if the package goes through a facility that has scanning and the route USPS takes to me maybe includes a black hole/void:rolleyes: The '19 Guardian's Lambsfoot took longer than most, so it's reasonable that this one too will take time.

I have sleep apnea Preston. It was diagnosed about 18 months ago, and getting a CPAP machine really made a difference to me, though it took a good while to get used to sleeping with a face-mask. Unfortunately, because of the two year-long cough I had, I had to stop using the CPAP machine. New medication has got rid of the cough, but now I need to get used to using the machine again

Finers crossed for you my friend :)

Another plus is that you get to use a Lambsfoot for the chore of cutting it up!

:)

Fantastic pics Wayne, sunshine on that Ironwood makes such a difference :)

Sorry don't know why that uploaded 3 times!

Even the forum software finds those pics irresistible ;)

dc50 dc50 Dave...I keep telling you. Don’t change a thing. Just be you. That’s plenty good, Pal.

Jack Black Jack Black I have sleep apnea. Had a terrible time adjusting. Mr. Stubborn, I suppose. I respect the ones that can adjust. BTW...Thank you for the fabulous two knives.

I’ve been super busy today which is the reason for the slow roll. I missed out on the one I thought I wanted. Besides Mr. Stubborn, they call me Mr. Procrastinator.:) Anyway, the first is the Snakewood. It’s righteous. I’ll show that later. But the Senator gives me great joy. I really, really love it. The covers suit me to a T. Ashley hand made a real gem. Off to the next chore.
PS. Thank you, Thank you, Thank you. Thank you also for the pin, too, my friend.:)
