Lucy hogged the camera most of the day![]()
Hey guys, excited to post that I have joined the ranks of the Lambsfoot owners! Just received an A. Wright in jigged blue bone in the mail today purchased from the aftermarket. Unfortunately my example isn't stellar, the blade is pretty kinked to the right, and has some fit and finish issues.![]()
Overall though, I purchased the knife intending for it to be a user, so its not a big deal. I intend to use it and enjoy the phenomenal usefulness of the lambsfoot pattern.
I have no idea when it was made, but I am really excited to carry it, planning to bring it with me as my only knife this weekend as I travel to my relatives for Easter. I do plan to purchase another lambsfoot, hopefully without these issues sometime soon, probably something with wood covers, I love wood covers.

Thanks Harvey!That’s a beauty. Congratulations.
Welcome Jordan! It’s a shame about the F&F on your Wright’s Lambsfoot. As you stated it is still an excellent user or EDC. You will find that they are capable of far better quality now. I have noticed a significant improvement in just the three years that I have been collecting this wonderful pattern! I think it’s been caused a great deal by the feedback from the people here and especially from Jack BlackHey guys, excited to post that I have joined the ranks of the Lambsfoot owners! While I've known about this since the beginning of the year (and was even the legal witness to the deal - I just happened to be there when the papers needed signing), I now have permission to publicly share the news that A.Wright & Son of Sheffield have had a transfer of ownership. John Maleham has decided to go into semi-retirement, concentrating on his own small company J.M. Tools Ltd, and the good news is that the new owner of the firm is Michael Harrison, John’s old Work’s Manager (and Ashley’s dad). This has led to an extremely smooth transition, and should mean a bright future for the firm, and for Ashley and Michael. The first knives to be made after the change of ownership were our 2019 Guardians Lambsfoot knivesI'm sure you'll all join me in wishing Michael good luck at the helm of Arthur Wright's, and to Ashley and the other cutlers on a great future

Nice to see the new gaffer still isn't afraid to get his hands mucky!![]()

Also the best of luck to Keith, who worked for Joseph Rodgers & Sons, before coming to Wright's, upon his retirement![]()

Well darn, I was do some work while on the driveway, Rosie slipped out of my hand and bounced on the concrete. First on one end and then the other. You can see the damage, not really bad but I'd rather it not happen and not be a BFO!

I'll come help ya with the IPA's!
Thanks Dennis, if I try to do that many multi-quote/replies in one post I'd get the error message. Maybe it has to do with the time of day and how many users are on BF. IDKShe just needs her confidence built back up, she's still a great looker!! Nice shot, Preston!
Mine today...
