Thanks my friend.Dwight, I'd have to say that it would be awfully hard to find finer Stag than what that pile side is sporting. Exceptional
It is exactly that. Like two different beautiful knives. I really like that.As another one who has a couple of Stag pieces from Wright's that are mismatched, I would have to wholeheartedly agree. It's like I have 4 different knives! Four different sides to match whatever mood I'm in and show off on any given day
Hope you get to feeling better Dylan. Hot toddies are mighty helpful. Beautiful pic.I am a bit under the weather and am fighting off a bit of a cold. However, the sun is out and I've managed to catch the last few rays of the day in the picture below. My Ebony posing with my favorite "cheap" whiskey. I might be making a hot toddy or two shortly.
The blackest ebony. I love those lambs. Thanks Dylan! I’m thankful to have this new addition!
A Good Friday morning to all you Guardians!

You know you could be both.
Good Friday to you Vince and that ironwood is looking sweet.Good Friday morning, Guardians.

Glad to hear it Jordan. That's a nice looking jigged bone in blue. Reminds me of José's green one. Welcome,Hey guys, excited to post that I have joined the ranks of the Lambsfoot owners! Just received an A. Wright in jigged blue bone in the mail today purchased from the aftermarket. Unfortunately my example isn't stellar, the blade is pretty kinked to the right, and has some fit and finish issues.![]()
Overall though, I purchased the knife intending for it to be a user, so its not a big deal. I intend to use it and enjoy the phenomenal usefulness of the lambsfoot pattern.
I have no idea when it was made, but I am really excited to carry it, planning to bring it with me as my only knife this weekend as I travel to my relatives for Easter. I do plan to purchase another lambsfoot, hopefully without these issues sometime soon, probably something with wood covers, I love wood covers.

I'm more into Lonesome Dove and such. I'm always in the dark about the Sci Fi stuff.I know there’s a lot of old school science fiction/fantasy fans here. I should get more into it. I’m more into near-futuristic science fiction, especially robots and AI.
Gorgeous pic and gorgeous valley Jack!Hi folks,
Just coming up to 8.00pm here, and I am absolutely beat after a long, tiring, but nonetheless enjoyable dayI'll try to get a few pics up tomorrow, and to catch up with the thread of course, but I'm worried I'm going to fall asleep mid-post!

That is a wonderful photo, Barry. Get the Lambsfoot in and dried off...have some liquid refreshment for yourself!
Well darn, I was do some work while on the driveway, Rosie slipped out of my hand and bounced on the concrete. First on one end and then the other. You can see the damage, not really bad but I'd rather it not happen and not be a BFO!

Very cool beer mug David.Good news Jack. The future of a British company and jobs secured then. The main reason I but Wright's knives.
Crikey! I hope they don't breed like...well...rabbits...

Thanks, Dwight.Very peaceful John.
Looks like they came to load up my rock and ship it to me.
I'll pass on the good wishes fellersI think they have even greater days ahead of them
I have written about their 'seconds' in the past, which were sold out of the factory door, or to dealers, and as a consequence, ended up back on the market. John M told me one bloke used to come to the factory every week to buy them. I've had seconds myself, which were OK, and I got them at a decent price, usually the problem was a crack in the stag or horn, but I don't think that they were good for the reputation of the company. I recently suggested to Michael that they mark the seconds in some way, so that they can't be passed off by unscrupulous traders. Michael told me they're no longer going to sell them, they'll either be scrapped or recovered. The bloke I mentioned above came to the door, and when Michael answered it, he asked if they had any seconds. Michael told him they don't make seconds!I think the Guardians knives have made a big impression at Wright's, and been a reminder of what excellence can be achieved. In my opinion, the quality of their general range has already improved over the past couple of years

Preston that snakewood lamb is absolutely gorgeous! Congrats on finally bringing it home.Jack does a great job of packaging these knives he sends out. I have no doubt that this one's passage was difficult...starting in the UK, then to LA then to Puerto Rico and finally here. My camera and computer were not cooperating but, I did get a few photos, however the shots of the Damascus blade didn't turn out well. This Snakewood Damascus Lambsfoot is just gorgeous, I like everything about it! Thank you, Jack Black and Ashley, at Wright's
