As another one who has a couple of Stag pieces from Wright's that are mismatched, I would have to wholeheartedly agree. It's like I have 4 different knives! Four different sides to match whatever mood I'm in and show off on any given day

It is exactly that. Like two different beautiful knives. I really like that.

I am a bit under the weather and am fighting off a bit of a cold. However, the sun is out and I've managed to catch the last few rays of the day in the picture below. My Ebony posing with my favorite "cheap" whiskey. I might be making a hot toddy or two shortly.

Hey guys, excited to post that I have joined the ranks of the Lambsfoot owners! Just received an A. Wright in jigged blue bone in the mail today purchased from the aftermarket. Unfortunately my example isn't stellar, the blade is pretty kinked to the right, and has some fit and finish issues.

Overall though, I purchased the knife intending for it to be a user, so its not a big deal. I intend to use it and enjoy the phenomenal usefulness of the lambsfoot pattern.

I have no idea when it was made, but I am really excited to carry it, planning to bring it with me as my only knife this weekend as I travel to my relatives for Easter. I do plan to purchase another lambsfoot, hopefully without these issues sometime soon, probably something with wood covers, I love wood covers.

I know there’s a lot of old school science fiction/fantasy fans here. I should get more into it. I’m more into near-futuristic science fiction, especially robots and AI.

Well darn, I was do some work while on the driveway, Rosie slipped out of my hand and bounced on the concrete. First on one end and then the other. You can see the damage, not really bad but I'd rather it not happen and not be a BFO!

I’m also a big Westerns fan. My childhood was filled with cowboys. Lonesome Dove is one of my all time favorites. Larry McMurtry’s books on the West are some of the best. Still like robots and AI, tho.

I'll pass on the good wishes fellers I think they have even greater days ahead of them

I have written about their 'seconds' in the past, which were sold out of the factory door, or to dealers, and as a consequence, ended up back on the market. John M told me one bloke used to come to the factory every week to buy them. I've had seconds myself, which were OK, and I got them at a decent price, usually the problem was a crack in the stag or horn, but I don't think that they were good for the reputation of the company. I recently suggested to Michael that they mark the seconds in some way, so that they can't be passed off by unscrupulous traders. Michael told me they're no longer going to sell them, they'll either be scrapped or recovered. The bloke I mentioned above came to the door, and when Michael answered it, he asked if they had any seconds. Michael told him they don't make seconds! I think the Guardians knives have made a big impression at Wright's, and been a reminder of what excellence can be achieved. In my opinion, the quality of their general range has already improved over the past couple of years

Well, finally it's here! Last I knew, this AM, it was on it's way from Puerto Rico. I just happened to check again, this PM, and it was here. Needing a signature the postal agent couldn't leave in my box at the mail house. I had to hurry into town before the Post Office closed. I'll unwrap and take a quick photo in a bit. Need to eat and get things ready for dog training tomorrow. Rosie is anxious to see the new one too!
