He also has a Benchmade 3550 auto listed on there. I wonder if this is another stolen knife? I sent a pm to one of the mods on knifeforum and provided a link to this thread. Hopefully if it is him his career on knifeforum will be short.

Yeah, he's changed everything since this afternoon. Earlier in the day his location showed MA along with the other email address. I should have taken a screen cap. If you go through his knifeforums sales posts, you can see a reply to a moderator where he claims to be in south MA. Of course, as another member noted the IP address is a dead giveaway.

Hey there, I left for vacation the day I received it so I didn't get a chance to cash it. Surprisingly I think it's legit, there's a receipt with it so we'll see

Actually I emailed him on Monday at the ctaber2011@gmail.com and he replied. I told him I wanted my knife back, he said he would mail it back. I gave him my address, he sent me a tracking number and it arrived yesterday. So that's good news as I wasn't ever expecting to have my knife returned. I hope everyone gets their items back.
 
Hey all, this is an older post but just a heads up. One "Chris Taber <fendi2882@gmail.com> " attempted to shaft me through a ebay scam. I just wanted to give you guys a warning not to do business with the ebay member "nytebanexxxx". He tried to get me to pay using paypal gift through ebay and appears to have scammed many people.

Further, if anyone knows shado on here, give him the heads up that photos from one of his old sales posts are being used on EBAY. I have pm'd shado here and on USN so he should be warned but just in case he does not realize it.

FYI : "nytebanexxxx" has sold quite a few Paramilitary 2s on the ebay within the past few days.
 
I love it when imbeciles come out of the woodwork thinking the coast is clear, only to get stomped and flushed again.
 
I would be happy to rescind the entire post but his actions speak loudly for him being a scam artist looking to score. I hope those that bought from him actually do get what they bought.

If I were to post the entire string of events it would be clear as day the guy or girl is a scammer.
