Of course neither the wife or I can take off work tomorrow either ti be with him. I'm up for a promotion that I don't want to.jeopardize by calling off, and she is playing unit manager tomorrow since her boss is off. Man life really gets in the way of what's really important.

Glad to hear there's no bleeding, but what a way to spend the day. Hope he's feeling ok already. Kids bounce back fast, but it always sucks to see your own kiddo in pain.
 
Damn Clich...it's always hard to see your wee one's in pain. I've worked in the ER plenty of times, and have seen tons 'o concussions. He'll be right as rain in no time!!
 
Clich, although I'm reading all this late after the fact, I'm really glad your boy is well. I hope he continues his path of ruggedness, that means he'll end up a Beckerhead for sure!

Okay, I just bought a lightly used Potbelly from Jroden5446. It came in the mail on Friday, but I've only been able to get to it today since I've been in the mountains all weekend. It's an awesome knife, but it seriously needs some new scales. Tommythewho did some great work here. Looks like I'm going to be spending some dough tomorrow. :D
 
Just got home from my trip to hilton head SC, had an awesome time with the family. I'll post some pics tomorrow, tonight I gota get some sleep.

Clich, the bk5 came while I was gone. This thing is awesome :D

That was a quick trip. I thought you just left a few days ago didn't you? I'm lucky enough that my immediate family is all within ten miles of me and I don't end up traveling too much unless I want to see my moms side of the family in Montana.

This place sure was dead over the weekend. Everyone musta been out enjoying the nice weather.
 
The way I read it I thought that the 5 wasn't your favorite anymore. I remember reading about your tranny going out. Stuff like that always happens at the worst time. Hopefully you can get that squared away and get another 5 soon.

I think these are two misinterpreted items...
IIRC, it was that SPECIFIC 5, post-permanent-handle-mod, that was no longer the favorite.

Anyone here have a jeep with the 'death wobble'? yeah. damn spendy. I believe an official complaint against Chrysler has finally been opened by whatever fed branch handles these things.

Does anyone know where the original eskabr thread is and whats it called? If I remember correctly the idea came from "someone on the forums" if it was this forum or another I dont know....
