Well, I had my second and final interview today at a very well known spinal cord injury/traumatic brain injury hospital. I did two clinical rotations there and would love to be a part of the team. I'm tired of being broke and unemployed, so I hope this is it. *fingers crossed*

That is a crisp lookin' Kimber, wildcat. Nice score.

Thanks, I just couldn't deal with the way it looked with the stock black rubber grips, so I had to find some nice cocobolo grips. I'm glad I did. Now I need to get some more range time with it. The poor things only has 100 round through it. :grumpy:

You really do need to show it a good time.... ;)

Damn can't see the kimber pic on my phone. Although I know I want one. Maybe someday. Are they as gorgeous in hand as they are in magazines?

I don't know about in hand, but in that picture they are. Those grips are really purty too!

mmm thats good eating bladite. I dont even have to fish. My brother in law who is 15 loves to fish, as does his mom and his late father. None eat fish. They go to the gun and rod club in town and fish in contests, then bring me HUGE trout to eat. I was never a good fisherman, but i am an awesome trout eater

Kimbers do look pretty nice in person. I liked the black version over their beadblasted stainless. Springfields satin finished stainless looks better imho. When I bought the Kimber I was looking for it or a Springfield. Both are great choices to me.

Bladite, that trout looks good. I've never had it tho. How does it compare to walleye or perch?

No pun intended. ;) :D

indeed :)

pretty good eating... a bit ... fatty. fortunately, a beer cleans the pallete nicely.

i don't HAVE to fish... it's not clear yet i enjoy it :) can just buy them. but i do like being outdoors. catching these two was almost like shooting fish in a barrel - closed course pond, stocked... still, not bad, 2.5 lbs of fish, most of that edible.

what i want are some sweet sweet perch, or blue-gill; and some large mouths, and perhaps some catfish. oh, my, yes...

still, one more bit of practice for survival training :}

it's a little fatty, one might say greasy, these are, plump and big. never caught trout this big.

never had walleye....

perch is SWEET rather. refreshing almost. i likes it.

Cold stream trout are lean, and rarely big and fatty. When I would catch naturals, they would be grilled in foil with butter and lemon zest. Its to die for I swear it. Lake trout are different. Lots of junk floating around ripe for the taking. Cold stream take what floats past, and in the dry hot summers I have in pa, that ain't much. A nice butterworm, and they are on your line like a call girl on nickel night. Takes a couple to make a meal, but its worth it.

Trouts is for catchin nots for eating. Bleh. LOL

I do like catchin em on ultralight gear, I live near a couple great trout rivers, the White River, the Spring river....both are good for trouts
