Trouts is for catchin nots for eating. Bleh. LOL
I do like catchin em on ultralight gear, I live near a couple great trout rivers, the White River, the Spring river....both are good for trouts
^this, except I use a couple of thin lemon wedges in them with a tiny hint of butter in the fillets, effing fantastic and the foil makes it great camp food; bury it in coals with a few foiled potatoes, etc. heck of a meal, and the skin sticks to the foil making it a non-issue.Cold stream trout are lean, and rarely big and fatty. When I would catch naturals, they would be grilled in foil with butter and lemon zest. Its to die for I swear it.

It's warm outside. Everybody I know has Spring fever and wants to go out and do stuff. I just spent three days out in the mountains. Maybe everyone else is busy as well.
Which reminds me that I've got some camping pics to post. Maybe tomorrow.
I'm dying to take a long weekend and get out in the woods for a while. Too busy at work to take time off though. Hopefully I can escape on Memorial day weekend...
mmm, fly fishing. not for me. this was just casting and spoonbilling.
they were big, and in a few months, they would be dead, so... pan.
hopefully, other tasty fish soon.
Hell yes. You need to take a big ol toke, and hold it, duh.l smoked some trout once, and l didn't like it, and l didn't inhale.
