There may be something "wrong" with me.

I am a laser physicist with training in advanced and modern optics. Yet, I seem to prefer piddly little lights (85 - 100 lumens) for many hours over robust, "manly" lights (500+ lumens) for a few minutes.

Do I need to seek professional help?

I have a 600 lumens equivalent LED bicycle headlight (on its highest setting) and that is a butt load of light ! So I'm with you on the high lumens. However, this rechargeable bike light is good for about 60 min on high.

For work lights I like headlamps because that way I have both hands to work with.

I use my LX2 more often on low (15) then on high (200). High is only when I need to spotlight something a bit further away. I often use my 5/80 E1B as well.

Lots of lumens can be pretty blinding when used up close.

Hey Trukrel

Something fried in my M6 so Milky suggested we rebuild the head. Its been some time since RcatR modded the light so Milky will go inside and suggest upgrades / repairs

I told him I only wanted the glow in the dark epoxy and keep the 2000 lumen output (well depending on cost maybe go above it lol) and optimize it 16760 cells

The L1 is getting the middle upgrade - next emitter / electronics etc...
