How many knives do you own?

As of today, 8 fixed plus one on order, 6 folders plus 2 on order, one SAK and one neck knife.
 
Really, it would take too long to find them all & count'em. They're everywhere in the house & furniture, the garage & vehicles. A quick count in visible displays is 113 knives. They're scattered around like acorns & hidden like acorns.
 
Around 150 or so. I'll go a few months or even a year or 2, without buying, because I get side tracked with other intrests. But I always come back to knives. My current interest is in sharpening, now I need to buy more knives just to sharpen.

Been buying and collecting knives since I was a boy, now 53. If I could make one suggestion to new knife enthusiasts, do not sell any knives. Just keep them, even if you don't really need or use them. And one day you will have a nice and valuable collection, with memories attached. I sold a few when I was younger... the money is long gone, but I wish had the knives now.
 
Easily 100, maybe more. That's not counting kitchen/eating knives. The brand most represented is Chris Reeve.
 
28. i have several that I rotate regularly through as EDC blades. Some I only carry on special occasions: wedding, banquet dinners, etc. I keep a few in each of my vehicles, one or two in my school bag. Im not big on the idea of simply keeping and collecting knives. I see the point, but i want to use my knives for what they were intended for. but 28 is my number...

Over 300 last count, that was awhile ago, I admit, I'm an accumulator, as it becomes known among friends and family that you like knives people will give you every manner of edged tool in the belief that as a "Knife Guy" if it has an edge, you should have it.
 
I don't have any idea. I've been collecting knives for 40 years and I've never met a knife I didn't like. As I aged my taste in knives have changed, so I've ended up with some of everything.
 
It was about 250 a couple of years ago. I guess it should be roughly 270 now. I keep buying but nether let them go: so I have no regrets ever!
 
I used to have between 50 to 60, but the collection has thinned out since getting into customs. Unfortunately, I don't have unlimited resources so the count is now at 18. But only 6 are production knives. The rest are custom - 8 folding (5 more on order) and 4 fixed blades (1 more on order). And I recently added two custom kitchen knives for my wife (she didn't think it was fair).

Anyway, I JUST CAN'T STOP buying knives.
