.22LR is ridiculous right now. I can't find it anywhere local. Luckily, I had stocked up on 5.56/.223 and 9mm pre-hysteria.
 
.22LR was almost impossible to get around here for a little while there. If you wanted some.... too bad, cause noone had it. Seems like with in the past month though, things have changed and its readily available.
 
Oh and I'm a fan of 9 mm it is all I carry. I need to start a stock pile since I only have about 250 rounds left.
 
We are ok on ammo. Just started seeing value packs of 22 coming in stock again, too, so that's hopefully not much of an issue. I reload everything else, except for carry ammo, and am not concerned about that supply.

Sounds like what we are looking at will probably be more of a range gun, but like I said, its not going to be my choice. I think this weekend we are for sure checking out some that interest her, assuming they are in stock. Also, the local indoor range has a nice selection of rentals. So far a couple of Walthers, the Sig cb mentioned, and the Beretta PX4 will be checked out. I'm sure we will find something that's a good fit and I appreciate the recommendations.

heading out the door to yet another day of relentless heat... going in a touch late, but the last couple of weeks have been 12hr days at work then a baseball game, then home to act as if though I had time to chill on the couch before bed....

I shouldn't complain really, I'm blessed to even have work let alone physically able to tackle it..

Man kids wanna stay up till 10 pm, wife goes to work at 3:30 am and guess who's gotta stay up for both... And ran out of coffee!

Well I wasn't planning on making any Becker handles but I've been getting so many request, I'm gonna offer them for a while. Brown, green large burlap and black micarta. I can make almost any color.
 
Wife graduates tomorrow, asked me what she is going to do with all her free time. I said how about one of those job things so you can support me in the lifestyle I feel I should be accustomed to? All she heard was bla bla bla no breakfast for you. Wench.
