If you could only have ONE GEC, which would it be?

My new beer scout in ebony.... It's quickly become my go to EDC. And it doesn't frighten non knife people at all.

Today, it's this one - tomorrow, it'll be a different one. And so on and so forth.

This one:

Love everything about this knife: long-pull, satin-finished blades, appaloosa-esque bone handles, beautiful lines, and a great selection of blades.

What model is that knife? Looks awesome.

GEC Montana Whittler (the original pattern #79 release). The scales are Calico Bone per GEC description. Thanks for the comments.

I'm glad to hear you like this. Just picked one up and am waiting for it to arrive. Was a little nervous of the possible thickness.
May have to update my previous entry once it arrives...

Don't worry: for a three-bladed knife with individual springs it's not really any thicker than most two-bladed knives. There are no liners between the three springs so that saves some thickness. The knife feels good in-hand and is built like a tank! Congrats on finding one!

One GEC knife... got to be a two blade #42 (Missouri Trapper) in burnt stag. But the Northwoods Madison Barlow would work too (two blade version).

Or put a bottle opener on your keychain.

Now that would be too easy wouldn't that? :D

I won't blame you, that is one nice looking knife with "do it all" versatility!

I think this would be the one: Love the bloodwood, but something about this shield puts it over the top for me.

It was tough to pick between this, or one of my 85s or 77s. So many great knives out there!
Thanks,
Brian
