I'm getting really, really sick of this.....

Most of you have the ability to edit your posts, and take this back to the Forum that it really belongs in...the Busse Forum....and I suggest you do so...it doesn't need to be public.

I have a call in to Amy-O about one of the new Busse models and plan on discussing the major meltdowns that seem to be occurring in Hogville, and will request that she start tightening screws.

I am ashamed of this recent rash of behavior, you are SUPPOSED to be brothers, act like it.:mad::o:grumpy::o:mad:

I think most would buy a new one for just a little more.
I feel you need to lower the price if you are very concerned about paying PG off soon.
I would mark it down $30, and then mark down $5 twice a day untill it sold. And if it still didn't sell in two days you can put something up that may sell faster.
I'm sure you can come up with the small differance to pay off PG.
Heck, he probally deserves some interest, so look at it as if your not really marking your knife down but paying him $30 in interest if it makes you feel better about not loosing $ on the Perigin.


If that didn't sell in one day I would put up a NICE Busse since this is to help pay off a Hog many like and know very well. Busse shoppers would be more likey to buy a Busse, esp to help another Hog.

Steven, surely you are not saying I should have put my original post in the Busse forum. The side bars and other stuff aside, the original post conformed to the GB&U purposes. I am sorry it caused some eruptions on the side, but I can't say I am startled by it all.

No, man, I'm not saying that...you had a legit beef, and this is where it should be solved....I'm sorta feeling that it would have been legit to start it in the Busse Forum first though....for a lot of reasons....but maybe that might have been pooing where one eats, and not a good idea....

Not sure, but my disgust with the DOL, KH, Leatherman fiasco, and now this are really quite serious.

Why so much, so recently?

Yeah, having a mod start a thread in the Busse forum that obviously belonged here would not make much sense either. I don't know what the heck is going on lately. Clash in personalities for some cases perhaps, who knows. I just know it sheds a bad light on a brand and a man I have a lot of respect for. I wish Jerry unfathomable success, but sometimes I wish he were as small a maker/manufacturer as he was when I first started collecting. The ugliness and stuff that has gone down in the last year is not his fault, but it still casts a long shadow. If I could have gotten Fallons Knives to reply to my various pms and emails over the last couple of months and work this out privately then I could have avoided adding to the mess, but as it stood I felt i had little recourse but to finally call it out in public. When He makes good I will post it here and then lock the thread.

I know some of the guys have been on thin ice, but I have to admit KH had helped give me as much info on Fallons Knives as he could in an effort to help me and I appreciate that. Not defending his past behavior, but he has been helpful without expecting anything in return, not even acknowledgment for his assistance.
 
A couple of items here:

1. This is between Progunner and Fallons Knives. They have been in email contact, and are working things out. The peanut gallery can now take a deep breath, ad go have a drink.

2. This thread has nothing to do with KH and DOL. Lets leave them out of this.

3. Editing of posts here is STRONGLY discourgaed. Stand by what you posted, and leave the record intact.

I had a deal working with with him as well, told me his son was coming home from Iraq and could I ship a blade Fedex overnight so he could have it for him when he got home. The deal was essentially sealed, he said his wife or whoever was sending the money via PP. I had the blade packed up, ready to go, was going to take an hour or so off work and Fedex it. Thought I was doing something good for a returning soldier. Money never came, multiple PM's went unanswered. Didn't post about it at the time because no deal ever 'officially' took place I guess. Same day I saw him bidding on another blade....:thumbdn:

Just from an outsider looking in, to me all these little hissie fits don't reflect bad upon Jerry or the Busse brand. They do reflect bad upon some of the members involved. Also glad to hear that this maybe getting resolved.

I agree with this- what people do with a product has no impact on the person who made the product.

No funds have made it my way yet. He did send me a message @ 13:06 today stating a member should be contacting me soon. It appears that someone has offered him $300 for the blade he has up for sale, so if it goes through, we are getting close to a full resolution. I will keep you guys up to date if he pays up.

2 members contacted me stating they wanted to buy the krammes folder. and when i replied to them they never answered and progunner wont pm them, so back to the drawing board

and i just paypaled him 200, and this will be all the money i have for a while.
