Why not?

and what's your point...did I break a forum rule or a shiny rule?

My issues I raised with you are still unaddressed...why are you searching for loopholes and technicalities allowing you to weasel your way outta answering them <seriously>?

FYI, I wasn't the first member to breech "flippers" in this thread.

Even if I was, the topic is inclusive for flipper comments, wouldn't you agree?
Okay, I'm really starting to worry about your health, as this is starting to sound like you're having a stroke.
-did I break a forum rule- If you have been selling knives at a markup that you specifically purchased with the intent to sell, yes, you broke a Bladeforums rule. Evidence is being mounted that you did just so. I haven't seen you refute this.
-My issues I raised with you are still unaddressed- What issues did you raise that are not addressed?
-the topic is inclusive for flipper comments- Is this an admission that you are here as a flipper?
-weasel your way outta answering them- Will you answer any of my questions?

The point is you are one of those people who would be on the flipper list. Coincidence that you vehemently oppose it? Please.

I addressed the questions, you just have your fingers in your ears, yelling LALALALA.

Keep digging

Lay em out for me as I did for you...number by number...point by point...by the letter, pretty please. :)

Good...who's got a problem with that?

So the fact that I contribute a lot over @ Busse don't make me legit to BF as a whole? Is that your implication?

BTW, I've got my "I've been a member here longer than you, boy!" shields deployed, so fire away. :)

If you want to engage something other than attacks on me and veiled threats of my supposed evil intentions, I'm listening. Otherwise, I'm going to do as your screenname suggests and "Quiet" you from my attention.

You keep attempting to make this about "threats" or personal attacks, but really, the numbers say everything that needs to be said. I don't need to insult you when I can just point out your very real actual intentions to others. :)

-IF is a big word, and for the record NO, I haven't...I would like to keep EVERY knife I buy, but alas, I can't...so many I buy as a result get sold for the next shiny thing...got a problem with that?
-the individual I asked about the issues is who I want to reply, not you, sorry. That is unless you're his lawyer and why do you feel he needs your help?
-categorically "NO!"
-I choose to fight the war on ignorance on only a single front at a time...take a number, get in line.

I'm not here to help anyone, except the forum as a whole. Shinyedges and Quiet don't need my help. I was reading the thread out of curiosity, when your posts caught my attention, and you refused to answer any questions about your use of the forum. I used the word "if", because there is still a slim chance that the evidence is being misinterpreted, but you are looking more and more like a flipper the more you defend the practice. I also feel strongly about the practice of flipping, so I would like to know what questions you have that haven't been answered. Maybe I can help.
-I choose to fight the war on ignorance on only a single front at a time- Picking the losing side means you get hammered on more than one front, and you aren't fighting against ignorance. Trying to suppress a list of flippers who don't follow forum rules is, by definition, supporting ignorance. Makes sense. Flippers profit off the ignorance of their marks.

If you are attempting to fight a "war on ignorance", unfortunately, this seems like a conflict you've already lost on the home front. A shame.

are you denying I'm being attacked here for bringing up a legit issue? there are members here trying to bait me into side issues and diversions.

Thanks for the chuckle :D

Like I said I addressed everything. What wasn't addressed?

War on ignorance? How ironic.

You're being debated with, though as someone with something to lose*, I can see how you dislike the facts that others are bringing to the table.

You know what's ironic? I didn't even know you or anything about you. I don't think I've ever actually seen you post before. It wasn't until I came in here, saw how you kept trying to make people stop discussing this particular subject (which is what your actual goal was, deny it if you like), then got curious and checked out your post history. Then it all made sense. Most of your posts are in sections which are specifically for selling knives. Despite your bleating about personal attacks, and others attempts at the old "Cause a scene in order to distract attention from the real issue" rope-a-dope, it's what it is.

Frankly, you would probably have done better to just stay out of this thread, so you didn't come to so many peoples' attention. There are a ton of people who have seen this thread and simply not commented, but you can be sure that they will remember the names of the people who are primarily here to sell knives, and only see them as captive members of a customer list.

*Spoiler alert: you

Let's do a little math here, you've been a member here on BFC since June 2014 a little over four years. You have 423 feedbacks all positive, I would guess to venture there are possibly another 20% or so of transactions that people haven't bothered to post so to be fair let's round that number up to 500 which I believe to be a bit conservative but giving the benefit of doubt here.

Four years equates to 1460 days, divide that by 500 and you have 2.92 so lets say three. Remember math doesn't lie. So that's roughly a transaction every three days. Dude, get a freaking dealer membership, or please help us understand that you're not a.......

What issue is he talking about ?!?

You can start with these below... I'd like succinct answers to #'s1, 2, &3 if you got it in ya please, thank you.
You have all the answers, it's true and totally obvious to everyone here.

Quit launching personal insults at me and trying to lay red herrings all over my profile, and address <at least a few of> the issues I raised, like:

#1. What's better than my own personal responsibility and judgment in deciding who I want to do a deal with?

#2. Can you see how the party considered the "victim" in a flipped deal could be at least self-conscious of being noted in a bad deal...or at worst, be humiliated?

#3. Why do we need ANOTHER flipper thread on BF?

still with the personal attacks, still avoiding the issues, still at the aid of a bro who needs help...birds of a feather.

May I? I think I will.

#1. What's better than my own personal responsibility and judgment in deciding who I want to do a deal with? Knowledge is power. An inexperienced buyer may not be aware of the flipping practice. A thread detailing pitfalls, like flipping, is helpful. If you want to rely on your wits alone, don't read the thread, and I pity you.

#2. Can you see how the party considered the "victim" in a flipped deal could be at least self-conscious of being noted in a bad deal...or at worst, be humiliated? No, but thanks for playing. Seriously, why is this even a question? How many threads have been started in GBU by people who have been "taken", without any concern for this "issue" you raise?

#3. Why do we need ANOTHER flipper thread on BF? Because we don't already have one.

Next unanswered question?

1. No one is forcing anyone to click on the theoretical thread that would contain a list of flippers. So how is your judgement being forced?

2.The theoretical thread with names doesn't have to have show who bought the knife.

3. To educate more people and ultimately hurt flippers sales. As has been said before.

At a minimum, the attention so far that these threads has stirred has made spark more alert to people abusing the memberships here. Meaning more crack down on flippers :).

Mr. I average a sale every 8 days, how much in fees did you avoid by using bladeforums like ebay ?

These are not personal attacks. I'll explain: this is a list of statistics about you, which are verifiable and accurate. I understand why you think these are personal attacks, as it is probably a threat to your side business, but it is no more an attack than identifying your eye color, or gender. They are just facts.

Pete, can I call ya Pete? Pete, question for you. Did you not know that people could easily click on your profile, and click "Post Areas" and see the entirety of your activity on this forum? This is a genuine question.

My replies to your defense of your BF brother:

#1. I'm an adult. I don't need any unsolicited aid in a dedicated thread. But fine, I'll play. So you get your "flipper" thread...now how do you verify 100% every stat of the deal is how it appears? So much for your "help" when you're looking at invalid data. And at the core of the definition of "invalid" is "unable to be verified."

#2. You're being obtuse. Just because someone doesn't say they got humiliated doesn't mean it didn't happen. MOF, I'd argue most of the time when they say they haven't been hurt, they most surely have. Think about it, you've proved my point by admitting no one speaks up about getting soaked.

#3. Wrong, flat out wrong. There's a thread in W&C a mile long about people suspected of being flippers that was propagated by folks without a damn clue talking thru their hats.

Or search his name and a keyword see how many of the same brand new knives he's sold...
