I agree completely. Speaking of flippers (people who care more about using this forum's membership base to sell knives rather than be a participating member of the forum at large), this is an interesting picture:

shiny there are AT LEAST THREE big differences I see between us:
1. I'm ok with letting people make up their own mind about BF deals without unsolicited outside help and judgment.
2. I also don't need help from outside "friends" to pile on top of someone who disagrees with me about a legit concern. Now maybe you didn't call out the dogs, but from their actions it's clear they feel you need "help."
3. I'm here to discuss real issues, not divert from answering questions about them.

Buying? Were you posting "Want to buy" threads in those sections which are explicitly for sale? I mean, it looks an awful lot like you're saying that you have been posting in the wrong section. Are you telling me the 64 threads you started in the Folding Knives for Sale section were you...posting about wanting to buy a folding knife?

Petey, feel free to have a look at MY posting history. You'll see a stark difference between us. One of us is interested in being a part of Bladeforums as a community, one of us is interested in using this place as a cheaper alternative to Ebay. Therefore, it makes you look a LOT like a shill whose primary goal in this thread is to blow smoke in an attempt to cloud the issue. And some of us (snaps fingers), ya know, some of us just can't figure out why that is.
Do you know who I like to buy knives from? Fellow Bladeforums members who are clear and obvious contributors to this forum. I see little sign (other than your interest in Busse knives) that you're a contributor in any significant way to this forum.

The point we're making that you continue to avoid (either purposely, or because it escapes you) is that your bias on this issue is clear. You are against any sort of public visibility into flippers because you clearly use this forum to sell knives, and thus any visibility of that nature could definitely affect your ability to make money. We get it, and if I'm being honest, I know full well that you get it. This isn't going away, Pete. You are looking more and more like you're exactly the kind of forum member we're talking about.
