Information from Instagram and Facebook!

Damn, the pics of the 2.7 are looking great! Just 100 grams. Can't wait to see mine with camo handles, black fasteners and flat dark earth sheath!

Man these look good. And it looks like plenty of grip, especially for the gals. I may have to try to snag another one on regular ordering for my daughter. Thanks to the both of you for giving us the comparison.

^This. It's a very expensive knife, but a good choice for smaller hands.

On FB there is someone on the group, gathering interest for Fire steel holders from Battle Horse Knives at $10.

I would be in unless S!K is planning to make one of their own. I am awaiting a GSO-6 so no rush for me.

I suspect S!K will start offering their own soon, I know that that both Kiah and the new sheath-maker are more than capable of putting out holders at low cost. In the meantime, I can advise folks that I've been offering firesteel-holders on request for $3 each with UKE orders - they aren't fancy, but they also aren't hard to make, just a quick heat/mold of a couple inches of kydex and punching a couple holes. *shrug*

Meh. We have been hesitant on that because there are so many different sized ferro rods. The solution would be to start selling ferro rods and making the loops to match those rods. But we haven't really had the time to dedicate to sourcing that out. I believe the ones Guy prefers are either super pricey or associated with other knife makers. Though I could be getting that confused with the strops...

so if i am reading this correctly withing the month (or soooner?) you guys will be selling ferro rods/holders AND strops?!?!:D;)

haha I think me ordering at the last minute did that already :( gotta live and learn, but when they do come in I will be a happy camper!!

I have a feeling that some of us will be receiving a Bear Grylls "survival" knife instead of our orders because of all the crap we give them!

Well, i don't know how the misch-metal ferro-rods are sourced (i.e. what countries actually manufacture them for the companies that brand/sell them)...

but I do know that the Coghlan's flintstriker and LightMyFire Swedish "Army" Firesteel and the NDur "large" , and the ExoTac fireROD... those are all 5/16" diameter... they may all even come from the same Chinese factory... *shrug*

I also know that your other sheath-maker produces firesteel-holders for another knife company :)

Hale Storm! If you don't mind my asking, where do you get your blanks? Or do you know where your supplier gets them?

I want a shirt. 4.7 and 6 and 12 for starters. In 2 XL one of each. And matching hats. Before camping season. Oh wait, if I cancel my T shirt order, and edit out the hat comment, would that move my 4.5 bushcraft order to the front of the pack? Great!

I've been looking around for a link to a FB users/fan group on the S!K FB page. I'd like to join. I am a novice FB user - on a good day! - so I will admit the button to request to join the group may be painfully obvious. I can't seem to figure it out, though. Can someone steer me to the link for it, please?

I'd like to join with user name TRfromMT, please.
