I had forgotten the new 3.5 is going to be thicker stock. My current 3.5 is not going anywhere!!! :D

And I sure hope that 2.7 fits me, I love everything about the way it looks.
 
Thicker stock? Dang I didn't notice that. I guess my current 3.5 stays also! You get anything in the mail today Hard Knocks?

Hey, bud. Yep got it, everything is great! You should have feedback by now. My buddy got his hands on it, I almost couldn't get it back! :D

Ha yeah! I wanted to quick get that link, but getting a pic was a little putzier....er........ more putzy of a process.

You are so right. Considering the T25 is a standard type of fitting, it sure looks nice and artful. I hope it looks just as good in person, I feel like it will.
 
I think it will, too. That black canvas in the pic is making me second-guess my choice of camo, though. Dang that thing looks nice.
 
I think that 1/64 of an inch really won't affect the performance of the 3.5 by much. I'm actually pretty glad that it'll be a bit bigger and have a solid tang. It'll be the Sherman tank of the Survive! line of knives.
 
I am glad I went with the 3.5 preorder a couple of weeks ago. Now looking at the new 2.7 I am drooling and ogling for one.

Not so fast I believe. They have yet to ship out all the 5.1 orders and then we have the 4.7 too. It will be a while, maybe a few months before we see it up for Monday release.
 
I suspect after Guy showing the photo of the 2.7 it will be a feeding frenzy for the Monday sales.

I definitely don't have big hands, but I really like that handles are getting longer. I'm all about that full tang. Onward and upward!
 
I don't feel like I have huge hands either, but I also really like the extra length on the handles. I remember at least one comment about wasted space or unnecessary extra length pertaining to the new handles, but I really think these new production runs are much better for my hands. I know the 5.1 feels much better to me now, and that extra length feels very intuitive when dropping back on the handle as if to chop. I think the extra snap that it will add is going to be useful in its size class.
 
Wow I had not read a comment about wasted space! Since I had come from the ESEE 6 and large Becker handles, the handle of the GSO 5 felt like it was right on the edge of being too short. I don't think it is TOO short, but there really is no extra space at all. I agree with your comments!
