Inkosi

Looks good. It would be nice if pivots and screws were inset and more flush (like the new pivot on the mnandi vs the old). Just a nit-pic. I feel the same about the 21 and 25, just more noticable with a large 25-like pivot.

The Inkosi has some kind of ugliness that looks appealing.
Does that make sense?

I just placed an order for a left hand model and when I questioned approximate ship time, I was told "not sure of turn around time. Hope for a couple of months." I think that was a very appropriate response. Not disappointed in the least.
Sort of like Christmas excitement but without knowing when Christmas is.

The video shows the parts shadow box and also Anne says there will be a large version and in-lays, etc. Looks like another full blown "family" of knives like their lit says.

Great pics. Note the redesign of the washers. The area of the washer holes that was exposed when the knife was closed is now solid. A few people have looked for that change over the years and here it is. Should keep the pivot cleaner.

The other refinement is the groove in the tang where the ceramic ball rests when the blade is locked open. I presume that makes the blade less likely to flex vertically in use, though I have not observed vertical flex in any of my Sebenzas. You can see the groove in one of the pictures on the CRK site.

My only experience has been with Sebenza's. Does the ceramic ball fall in a groove and stops any lock bar movement over time and use??

I think it would more of an issue of stabilizing the lockbar than the blade. Will be curious to learn more.
