Inkosi

I dont know what the notch is for officially but i have read some guys saying its so you can feel what position the blade is in the dark, I almost feel like its there for the use of a fire steel. Ive used my 25 notch on a firesteel and it works great on the 25 notch. Or maybe its just for aesthetics.

The Inkosi is the same size as my other favorite small folder, the Strider PT.

The PT wishes it was even half as smooth as the Inkosi!

Here's some shots to show the differences in blade shape. (Small Sebenza vs. Inkosi) This little guy is hard to put down.

Based upon pic's, what I see that I like (amongst many things) is the "hump" behind the spine for the thumb to press upon.

For those that own one: how are the factory edges on them? I read that they are working to improve out of box sharpness! & I will definitely be picking one up. I'm sure the finger grooves help make a small knife seem bigger in hand

Now I just need a pic next to a 25 and my wait will be easier.

Gimme a little bit I'll hook you up with that.

Nikkogi: Mine came sharp. It slices paper and shaves hair off of my arm with no pulling. It is very sharp especially considering the thicker stock. Easily compares to my 25 in that aspect.

Question for you guys who also own a small 21. The Inkosi looks smaller than I thought when compared with the 21, how is it in hand? Is it almost the same or can you feel a significant difference in hand and in use?

That is a STOUT looking little knife!..blade looks THICK! Wish i could justify getting one, just too small for me, sucks cause i would love to have one. I just know its not for me:(

Hurry up CRK...im ready to throw my money at a large Inkosi with all the flavors!:)

Can you post a pic of the two together please? Just trying to get an idea of the size. Thanks

you can definitely tell a difference, but it's not in any way uncomfortable. The longer you play with it, the more you appreciate this thing. Feeling the lock up is a think of beauty, and is smoother and less clicky when the bade locks into place. We can thank the ceramic ball lock up for the buttery smooth (and even more so like a bank vault than the small 21) lock up. In one day it's taken over as my favorite CRK to mindlessly open and close.
