Inkosi

Congrats! Thanks for the pictures.
The knife looks good overall, I like the blade shape a lot(belly).
Question - The thumb stud looks buried a bit when closed, what technique do you use for opening ?

I placed an order with CRK for a left handed Inkosi...umm, more than 2 months ago hoping for a before Christmas, Christmas present, but finding out now it won't be until January at the earliest before I experience the joy that you righties are experiencing right now or in the near future.
I'm okay with the wait and will vicariously enjoy your Inkosis. What's the plural of Inkosi?

I also ordered a lefty and still waiting for it, but I'm impatient. I found with a little practice I learned to open them with the right hand and the double lugs are sort of ambidextrous. Closing have to be done right handed and I carry on a pouch which helps.
Like you, I prefer lefties but there are more options with both hands. It is great that Chris Reeve makes them left handed.

Anyone have a Spyderco Techno they could take comparison pictures with?

Thanks,

Chris D:D

I'd like to see a Inkosi comparison photo with a Techno, too. My Techno may soon be on the "endangered" list...

Can any of you inkosi owners post a pick of the ceramic ball groove on the blade tang? Curious to see exactly what it looks like.

On almost all of the pics I have seen of the lockup it seems as though the lockup is very far over +50%, is that what most guys experience so far that have them in hand.

That's pretty much the norm for all the CRK models, especially with the ceramic ball interface.
