January 2021 Buck of the Month - 722 154CM Solid Copper Handle

I don't know what the significance of this is, maybe no significance at all, but I find it interesting that Buck used CPM154 in the December 501 BTOM and uses 154CM in this BOTM.

I have now learned more about knife blade steels by researching these than I ever wanted to know. lol

this run isn't cpm154. its 154cm.

Yup. That's what I said. I just put the cm before the 154 instead of after. Dyslexic typing. Fixed it to avoid further confusion.
I expect they either had the 154cm steel available and wanted to use it up or 722 blades already made in 154cm and thats why they used it.

Had to have my wife order one as I no longer get emails and or notifications from Buck Knives since D Day. If her emails are removed I will come completely un done with a long list.
Until then I will support as I have for years

Tracking says due tomorrow. Looking forward to holding a chunk of copper with a blade.

I just bought one of these bad boys! I've never bought off buck.com before only other websites, does anyone know the sales tax rate they charge??? Seems pretty high.
