I think it depends on where you live. Internet sales tax laws are a mess and vary a lot.

Agreed. I bought 99% of my Bucks for shipping to AZ, but one time I bought to have shipped to MN while visiting family and the sales tax was higher to MN, which surprised me.

Yeah I know, Missouri is 4.225% so city and county shouldn't also be getting a piece in my opinion.

Had a batch of knives come in from knife center and they didn't even charge me sales tax so who knows anymore.
we applied a wax film to keep it from developing a patina until it arrived to you all.
There are lots of reports about email not getting to people, including some buck employees. I don't know how this is all set-up, but will discuss with our marketing so they can look into it.

they will too soon, states are chasing their lost sales tax dollars. that isn't going to stop. just be glad your state hasnt come after you yet for stuff you've bought without paying sales tax. I know a guy here that got hit and the state hit him very hard. id call it crippled him, but that would be too kind for what they did.
we're way off topic though.....back to the botm....mine showed up today. mail got ahead of their schedule. heading home in a couple and see how it looks.......
that is a wire brushed finish. mild texture feel.

I put a hinderer copper scale on my xm-18 and it wore in nicely and developed a beautiful patina.
I'm excited to do the same for the Spitfire.

after the wax wears away first though.
I love the shine of copper and brass, but not the work to keep it up. so ive learned to like and enjoy the browning patina of copper and brass.

The Spitfire looks good, glad to see it is not a four position clip, also wondering if Buck has extra black clip screws to fill the holes? I am not much of a clip person, either pocket or sheath. This clip looks like I'll probably take it off. Only the Vantage clips work for me.
