JK FFL 2014 Weeky Wrap-ups

And ya know, I felt I needed everyone one of those points against Saintly Brees this week, cause his team did well enough to beat just about every other team's score. All hail Gronk! (I just hope he stays healthy)

Well played! :)

I actually kinda knew that I had lost this match pretty early on Sunday.

Aaaaaand....that is what I get for dropping Ingram. :(

2 straight 23 point weeks and I have a feeling that will continue barring injury. Nice pickup, Todd.

Wow! A busy Waiver wire today! The Eminem team beat me to Flacco, so I took ...ORTON, THE PACKER SLAYER. Yes, I know the Bills play the Chiefs this week, but the Packers are coming up soon for the Bills and Orton has their number! I can't decide whether or not to start Harvin this week? If I start him he will get 4 points and If I bench him, he will go off for 25 I fear! That Peterson acquisition was nice! I tried! Hope Romo gets well! Whats with all the points coming out of Stoney!. The fricking Denver studs need to slow down! GO BEARS! GO BILLS!

I noticed the Peterson pick up as well, knew i'd be too low down the waiver order for him, and suddenly the fact it's just impossible he'll play this year just seems all too thin ;)

Baring a sudden memory loss to all Broncos I'm worried about anyone's chances to win except maybe you're daggers with the patriot, cowboy and bear cowboy you have going! I was surprised you went for Orton over griffin or Tannehill but I don't know of this "packer" slaying , I'm too new here I guess :D. Romo looks like he could play as well. I know what you mean about Harvin, I have the same problem with running backs, (I saw you got the one good fantasy week out of Williams after spitting up two 5's for me, he still looked awful though)

I'm still trying to figure out why I had the compulsion to pick ball back up myself, just getting the old gang back together I guess

The Jabs continue to fireball, while the Steelers are making a run for last place.

The Steelers at least fielded an entire lineup, and the only two real coaching decisions both failed. The Big Fig put up a disapointing 15 points, while Dalton had a marginally better 18 on the bench. I put in Wallace who took the day off with 5 points, while the old man in Indy put up 18 points on the bench. With the dismal RB showing, and nothing to speak of from my flex, and SD totally dropping the ball all day, SS could only muster 56 points, which is about average for them lately. Meanwhile, NOR put up a rather mediocre 84 in what turned out to be an easy with for the rodent. DeSean had a good day, AJ was back but not seeming 100%, and Brees put in his 22 cents for the win. Beckham had a really good day in a game I watched - he looked good and had 15 points while sitting on the wabbit's bench.

Stainless Steelers 56
No Ordinary Rabbit 84

Where in the world is freaking San Diego (sung to the tune of the Carmen San Diego song). For some reason, Rivers and the SD crew decided to take an early bye week, scoring zero points at Miami. Not good news for the Brees. Except for their k, the Brees had every player on the road this week. Forsett got his 9, he has been solid all season, and Rainey had 11, but the only other skill position that had a decent day for SB was Hilton with 13 points. His K had a nice 11 points but it all added up to a loss with only 58 points. The Jackhammer put up 102 in the win, with Lynch finally getting back to beast mode on the Halloween weekend. I wish I could leave an 11 point RB on my bench and have both starters out score that number! I saw Fitz finally caught a couple balls, maybe the old fellow will have a better second half.

Saintly Brees 58
Jackammer 102

The Beavers continue to enjoy the best scoring QB in the league, getting 33 points from Luck. McCoy had 11, and Lamar put up 10 before he left the game with a sprain. Fleener was the only other real scorer for the week. The Dags came out strong with Brady on a roll, and Brown tore it up against Baltimore. A great flex play in Hopkins and solid numbers across the rest of the team added up to 112 and a win for the Dags, plus they had a couple of nice bench performances from his second string WRs.

Bucky Beavers 87
Dakota Daggers 112

It looked like the Eminems were going to score a win this week, until Big Ben went off for 6 TDs and 40 points! Even though the rapper put up 95 points on strong performances from Alfred (who looked good!) and Edelman benefitting from the recent resurgence of Brady, and 16 points from the Ind K, 95 points was just shy of enough when the Badgers rode Ben and the Gronk to 102 points and a win. Mathers had enough points on the bench, with Decker while Garcon had only one point. It's a frustrating game!

Marshall Mathers 95
Honey Badgers 102

In the "this is not even fair" category, we see the Jabs putting up almost three times the points of the Steelers, with 150 points with 27 points EACH from Manning, Hill and Macklin. Tbe only weak spot was the Redskins D with only 2 points. It's going t be tough to beat a team that puts up this many points, only an injury to a Bronco tosser would hamper this juggernaut. On the other sideline, the Squad put up a very nice 110 points with Ingram showing he is healthy with his second straight 23 point outing, 23 from Palmer, Jamaaaal had a decent day, Ellington was huge for the Cards, and Graham is back and looking healthy. I don't know what to tell you - 110 points and you still lose by 40?

Todd Squad 110
Stoney's Jabronis 150

More byes this week - get your lineups in - the season is running short now - and there is no transaction fee in this league so go for it!

best

Thanks again Andy,

I'm glad to be passed my second big by week, 84 points and a win, may have just burned all the luck I had left ;)

The championship game is in 7 weeks.

For awhile, I thought that I was going to win the "Golden Poop" award from myself. 2 points from Rivers. Huh? And only 41 points going into Monday night (IIRC). Seems like I either do well or really bad. No in-between. What a weekend, but congrats to Jack for a great game. :)

With week 9 done and 4 more regular season games to go:

Stoney's Jabronis has clinched a playoff spot!

ALL TEAMS ARE STILL IN THE PLAYOFF HUNT!

No other team has clinched anyhing yet!

Play hard & good luck!

It's like watching the giants game all over again (Eli Manning: ummm, should I throw to the talented guys, or the ones who can't catch the ball...I know! = Andy Dalton: is that guy on my team...let's find out!)

ah, i may have had a drink to get through that one :)

freaking game managers...bad game managers.

Well, Hill has put me in the hole early. I'm nervous that Peyton gets benched championship week.

Had a chance to take Stoney down, and friggin Worthlessberger lays an egg....WTF

After the last 2 weeks, who can blame you for putting him in?

Anyway, all you need now is week 4, when Maclin scored 5, and the Eagles D scored 24 ;)

Mr. Brightside

Looks like Rodgers is having a great game, go figure...
