Hi everyone , here is a nice sunken joint Trapper I just finnished today . I used CPM-154 steel for the blade after heat treat an nitro quench an tempers I have a nice 60 Rc. The closed length is 3 7/8" with and open of 7". There is no spine showing or to feel when closed (Sunken Joint ) Nice burl Box Elder stabilized with and Inlaid Badge Shield and and a fileworked fluted bolster make this knife a stand out beauty. Blade lays perfect center and did so thru the whole work process ( Thanks to a Surface Grinder ). I do not notice any circles or rings anywhere after opening an closing up to 30 times, razor sharp and ready to work or go into a nice collection. will be posting in makers for sale area later. Thanks for looking an hope it makes your day in some way. Joe Allen.

Hi everyone ! I have here today a nice Dog Leg Jack in Amber Jigged bone . The blade steel and spring are CPM-154 stainless steel. 3 1/2" closed . The Blade is hardened to about 63 rc then double tempered down to 60 -61 rc with Cryo quenched in between the tempers. Blade is hand sanded to 6000 grit going thru many grit sizes after several belt sizes did their job first. The inside spring is belt an hand sanded to 6000 grit with the blade hand sanded to 1000 grit. Fit an finish are emasculate. For more info if interested go to knifemakers for sale section under ( folders ) . Thanks for looking .

Some original and interesting stuff you're making, getting a sunk-joint made is impressive-lot of makers seem to dodge that one...

El LOBO # 1- Hi slip joint friends , Finished this knife today an just showing it on my site, haven't made anything for quite a while. I Got the idea from a Ruffin Johnson knife which was a lock back , an I turned it into a slip joint . Knife is 4 3/16" " closed and 7 1/4" opened. Steel is CPM-154 an Has been Cryo treated between tempers. The scales are Box Elder Stabilized an the opening pull hardness is around 5 . Flush in all three positions. Just a sweet knife that I'm taking orders for if anyone might want this style with whatever scales you might want. Stainless bolsters hand finished to 6000 grit and blade 1000 grit. Email me at joeallen@me.com or pm or say something here. Comments welcomed. Most prices are 400.00 to 500.00 for this knife depending on extra's an scale materials. Thanks for Looking , Joe
