Kershaw Knives News Thread

Thomas, any chance we (ok, I :o ) will ever see a Ti framed Random Leek? I'm about ready to start looking for a Ti/ZDP189 Leek just for the darn Ti handles to add to a Random blade... :(

bubba, probably not a Ti Random Leek. We have a ton of new KO patterns that will more fit that bill. Better start looking for the Ti Leek.

Upcoming Kershaw knives:

1. Junkyard Dogs 1 & 2
2. Groove
3. Needs Work
4. Lahar
5. NRG
6. G-10 Offset
7. Gray Random Leek (Will Plain edge be available?))
8. ZDP Mini Cyclone
9. S30V Blur uncoated
10. Serrated Rainbow Leek
11. Pink Leek & Chive
12. VG-10 Classic Folder (Forgot Name)

Did I leave anything out?

Anyone have more info about the Tirade Proto?

Well there will be a few exclusive short runs done up over the next 60-90 days for a few of our larger customers, other than that you got it right.

The Random Leek will be in combo edge only.

The VG-10 gentleman's folder is just known as the 1993-2.

I have a bit more info on the Tirade, it won't be done in S90V.
We are deciding on blade steel at this time, but it will be out in late Feb. early March.

Looks like I gotta start saving up some money...:D At least six of those will be on my dresser or in my pocket by Spring!

Keep up the good work Thomas. We all love you here!

Is there a Kershaw forum SOMEWHERE or a press release or something where I can catch a glimpse of the new offerings?

:( Too bad, I was willing to get that one but I'm not getting CE anymore, I always end choosing a plain edge over a CE every morning... I'll try to get one of the old ones but It wont be easy task. :grumpy:

To be fair guys, the new "scalloped" serrations are much easier to use than the older aggressive serrations. The new serrations don't snag at all. You don't even know they are there until you need them. The scalloped serrations just eat up cardboard!

OOoOOOOOOOOH!!!!...can't wait!!!!! Hope it's within my budget.

Any news on a Kershaw forum? What with all those '07 issue knives coming out, I don't want to miss a thing. :D

Thanks, Jeremy, I didn't know about the Kershaw pages on Ken's site.
