I'm saying that maybe Blade needs to reconsider the rules of eligibility for particular categories. Movies require a theatrical release by a certain date to be eligible for an oscar for a certain year.
Imagine if a movie won a 2010 oscar but the public still hasn't seen the movie in the summer of 2011, and when they do finally see it, it has a different ending. It's just bizarre.
A better analogy would be how car shows operate. manufacturers reveal new products that they intend on releasing in the next year or 2 as well as prototypes that may be 10 years from production. They do this to show off new technology and ideas(ie. all the alt. fuel vehicles that are in production today were debuted as prototypes many years prior to making their way to a dealers showroom)
THIS IS A GOOD THING.
