kingdmx3 ( David Mosquera)

I have been contacted and shipping is coming. Hes healing from his medical issues. All is good.

I have also reached out to him in the last little while in an effort to get more info.

Unrelated, but I'm impressed with Blues Blues capacity for reason and level headedness in all of this.

Clearly the right man for the job.

I'm glad that you are being made whole. At least I hope you are.
He reached out to me as well a couple days ago along with everyone else it seems, and said he was shipping my knife. He had the nerve to ask me for $10.00 more to cover shipping. Being the person I am, I went ahead and sent it to him.
Of course he's ghosted me again now, won't respond to my PM's and has not sent me any tracking info. This after telling me his family are lawyers, he wasn't a scammer, and he would honor our deal and ship my knife.
I'm sure he got a good laugh at getting another $10 bucks out of me after what he's done here to all of us. Now I'm out $270.00 and still no knife and no shipping info.
If I don't get some results by next week, in spite of the advice from the mods, I'm going down to Georgia and filing criminal charges against the guy. I'll sue him in civil court too since my family already has an attorney they use there. I'm not sure why the mods would advise me to not go there if I have the time, and the means, to go there and take legal action to make this right?
Luckily he sent me my other knives so I have his address in Jefferson. I have family a few miles from him in Royston so it will be a nice time to do some fishing and have a little vacation time. Two birds kinda thing.
I'll assume this post makes me a douche and the bad guy. So be it. For those inside this world and outside of it, if you know me, you know I'd give you my last nickel if you needed it and would put blood, sweat, and tears where needed, if you were my friend or family.
David Mosquera has done me wrong so far. It's unacceptable to me and I will not be stolen from or our contract ignored. I will NOT go away and let him keep my knife. I want him to honor his contract with me.
Lastly, I sincerely hope he is healing and recovering from his health issues. I really do. As a man who has cheated death 3 times so far in my life (twice beating cancer), I would have never assumed I was not accountable for my actions or my word because of that, especially if I had come on here desperately seeking money from the sale of my knives to help myself, and enjoyed the generosity and benevolence of the members here. Hell, some of them even donated cash just to help out.
It seems to me if he really has a family of lawyers, he could easily ask someone to drop a package off at the Post Office, knowing how bad this situation will become if he doesn't follow through.
Rant over.
Hopefully the mods won't ban me from BF for this post.

You have a very selective memory as to what the moderators suggested you should or should not do. Which was basically not to show up on his doorstep and confront him...while we did not at all recommend against using any other legal or financial means available.

Also, while you like to paint yourself as the good guy in this drama, it didn't escape the notice of the moderators that you pushed repeatedly for the seller to give you a discount from his original price, and basically badgered him with enough DMs that we had a hard time keeping score. The extra $10 doesn't come close to the discount he gave you from the original asking price. (And honestly, there were legit questions as to his state of mind during that entire sad drama.)

Frankly, several folks, whom I will not name, have mentioned they wouldn't do business with you as a result of reading your posts and DMs. And I wouldn't at this point either.

I hope you get your knife and are thrilled, and I hope the seller gets well and completes his obligation.

You aren't being banned, though some of your actions and behavior in this matter don't paint you in the best light. And the more you post, the deeper the hole gets.

Well, I'm sorry to hear that. And to clarify, I wouldn't show up at his door. That would be foolish and wouldn't accomplish anything, although I've read many posts on here in the past about members tracking down scammers and others because they were nearby. Suddenly I'm the bad guy for wanting to solve the issue legally. I would say I didn't "push" anything. I offered. He agreed. Then everything fell apart on his end. Have I acted out of line? I'll say yes. I'm far from perfect. But I'm not the bad guy here and never have been. I have a right to be angry. I have a right to defend my side when someone is violating a contract they agreed to more than once. He continues to say one thing and do nothing. He's made more promises and yet he has not sent my knife, provided tracking, or answered my PM's. That is on him and it seems I'm just supposed to sit here and do nothing, lest some members think badly of me? That's strange to say the least.
As far as the knife, I'll never be thrilled with it. It will hang in my shop on display. I was one of the original 30 that got sent the pre-production models from Guy at S!K back in the day. I sold it for whatever reason and regretted it because it's a reminder to me that even the best products can't save a man that is dishonest.
As far as those members, that really bothers me. I've always tried to place myself as one of the guys that had a great reputation here. I'm disappointed to hear what you just said, but I did hear from some members here and have talked about this situation with others in my world here, and no one feels the way you do. Hopefully time will heal whatever wounds I've created by my angry rants and need to not be cheated out of my hard earned money. My sincere apologies to the mods and members affected by my stance on the issue.

No dm needed. I’m one of them. Hale storms attitude as a vendor turned me off indefinitely.

Kingdmx3 communication has sucked bad, but he has delivered and delivered what he promised .

He has NOT delivered what he promised and continues to ghost me while having my hard earned money. But I guess as long as you got what YOU paid for then all is well.

Our records show he was last on the site yesterday, at 2.44 a.m.

It's a waiting game at the moment...and anybody's guess whether he is at home or an in-patient again. Time will tell. And we still hope to hear from anyone who has not already posted in this thread and is still awaiting delivery of any outstanding orders. (As always, we recommend making reports to the banks, credit cards and authorities as appropriate.)

His last public post was on 2/20. I believe he has posted DMs since that date, however.

I heard from him in a pm on 3/4 at 12:48 pm. He inquired about the first two knives he sent me and I responded that they arrived and all was well with that transaction. He's claimed he would ship my other knife but has since ghosted me on the answer or the shipping info.

Maybe you should find another term besides "ghosting" which implies intent which has not been established. If the man is impaired physically, or confined, he might not be able to reply or respond quickly. The pattern has become evident over these past weeks.

Again, you throw down early and often, and perhaps you should take a beat...or a few. Remember, you were the one who jumped back into the fray once you got the price you wanted...well before he had responded to your question(s). It doesn't change the fact that an item has now been paid for, but you haven't proven bad faith on his part.

If you are convinced he's scamming you after your first items were received in the condition expected, then I urge you to take the financial and legal steps you have been repeatedly posting about.

If the seller truly had a heart attack or cardiac event, then I'm sure his doctors have told him to avoid stress. I'm not absolving him of what he owes, but a little compassion seems appropriate.

Dude had already had a successful sales thread. Then he disappeared and his personal info got plastered on here and people claiming they were coming to his area. I’d be hesitant to post openly on here as well after that fiasco.

I've read through this whole thread & I couldn't agree with Blues more. No offence Hale Storm, but you come off as kind of a douche & I'd never use your services.

Elliot reminds me of the late great Esav with his calm but firm demeanor in situations such as these. Spark knows how to pick his mods.

I can't hold a candle to Esav. I swear like a sailor and I have more of a temper than I care to admit. But I always told the truth on the stand and never convicted an innocent man...

Thanks for the kind words, John. I try to earn them, but I know I don't always.

I'm not easily offended and I respect your opinion but disagree with you. You don't know me. Hell, you don't know anything about me except for this one post and I've been here for 14 YEARS. But go ahead and judge me based off of ONE post. A few guys on a forum don't define who I am just as much as my anger at this situation shouldn't define my entire reputation here on BF. It is what it is. I've apologized to those that deserve it and I meant it. I have nothing else to add.
