Knife addiction

DAVID1967 I must say you have quite the collection but posting them in the knife addiction thread is not helping. I'm sure other members are going to be looking and fueling their need to buy. By the way that Katana is really cool. How did you aquire that and do you know it's history? One day I would like add a sword to my collection but I still have a few folders and fixed blades I must get before I do. Oh wait I'm not setting a good example here !!!

Just had my first black out......I received a new Busse that I forgot that I had I ordered!!!! I like...I like......I LOVE IT!!!!! oh my I might have to start with my step one. This is my 4th meeting and............I might.... might.....just maybe..... have an... issue here. More suggestions please.

Heh, i've done that...guilty, and hurriedly ordered & paid for a knife from the US, pushed it out of my mind, and shat myself when it turned up

Finally went out and bought the wife a B-Day present...... and you know.....it made me feel less "guilty". Of course it was OK for me to buy that kershaw model 0300 on the way home. Hell I even remembered her B-Day!!!! This is my 5th meeting and they are beginning to work! Thank you Brothers.

Sorry I have no info about this particular piece. I bought it maybe 15 years ago in a pawn shop. But it is not a historical piece - IMO it is someone´s attempt to make katana out of spring steel. But I had it refurbished last year and it looks much better now.

You are a knife addict if you try to do an inventory of your knives in your head and you come up 30% short of your actual inventory.

My Blade of Brother's the weirdest thing happened to me this morning. I woke up around 4:00 am and went on to Blade Forums thinking someone had listed the knife of my dreams. I guess this is why I'm President!

David 1967 could solve my addiction if he simply sent his collection to me. Then I would have no more knives left to buy......

You are a knife addict if you have to inventory your knives period;)

My wife was sitting in my garage next to my bench and noticed sometihing under the edge. Well I have a 8' Kershaw in it's sheath screwed the bottom of the bench. She has always been a little uneasy with all my knives around the house because of the kids, well now they are grown. Well I came out of the house into the back yard and saw my wife playing with one of my thowing knives. What a beatiful thing:)

Agreed

Knife addiction is contagious, my wife watches me EDC knives everyday.

Now she wants one, and she was looking at my Spyderco Paramilitary CPM-D2 which is currently on safe-queen status because it was a sprint run limited ed.

I don't know how to tell her no, but nobody touches my Para but me:D

I'll get her an Endura or a Delica

Guys that's the ulimate !! The wives have finally come around and accepted your love of knives plus showing some interest. Hope the same happens with BIG MATT. But be carefull you still want to keep your individualality. Certain addictions are sacred especially blade ones. I'm sure there are women on this forum that have a passion for knives and if any are reading this thread please share your addiction with us.

The Busse forum has set me back. I score many Busse blades that I'm proud of and feel good about...and then.....some steel JUNKIE....YOU HEARD ME RIGHT....JUNKIE......posts their 14 SHSH on the forum making my recent "score" seem so insignificant. I have only a moment to enjoy my knife and then I must pursue these JuNKIES......HOGS!!!!! You tell them what you just got, they say nice score.... then they show you their 35 pieces of what you just got!! Dammit I won"t quit!!!! I forgot what number meeting this is for me..but I have had a set back..... I'm MUST TRY TO PURSUE THE IMPOSSIBLE QUEST. I wll forever chase the dragon.....

BIG MATT I feel your pain! By the way this is your 5th meeting or 6th not sure because I'm too busy looking at Blades. As in any type of therapy there are set backs. Don't fret. I suggest that you stay away from the Busse forum for a couple of days if you can. That way when you go back on you will have a fresh perspective on things. Your suffering from Busse over load. SAVAGESICSLAYER that's a great collection especially those Ak's. Thanks for sharing !

I have been busy working.............to make money.............so I can buy knives:rolleyes:
